Would you watch spin-off show about Celestia and Luna?

Celestia and Luna have existed for more than 1000 years and they have certainly have had many adventures in those years too.

Yes I definitely would. Perhaps not a spin-off but rather canon series. Would love to see what happened like 900 years before season 1 of FiM 

 

Anyways they deserve their own movie/series although it's highly unlike to happen because of G5

Yeah, I think it would be interesting to have more content about them. Though, I do worry if their backstory could be done justice, or if it's better left off to our imaginations.

That would be really awesome. Perhaps a pre-FIM about the princesses and then perhaps a more comedic/light hearted show about the various adventures they go through after retiring.

I've thought, since I started watching the show, that Celestia and Luna, and to an extent, Cadance as well, were indescribably more powerful than any pony/creature since they're both 1000 years old and have a lot of magical XP. We know Celestia could've easily shown Chrysalis the axe, but because monster-of-the-week plots demanded the Mane 6 handle things themselves, she (and Luna) never got that chance. 

A spinoff with just them would give them that chance, in which case, hellz yeah.

Hmmm I feel like fim was already getting over saturated with stories, particularly ones that don't effect the canon and annoying ones that change the canon too much.

Now gen 5 will apparently also take place within gen 4's universe. 

And if a show like this were to come it would also change alot of what he have already seen about Celestia and Luna's past (I def. Would not want it about the present as that would be boring, and same with the future). So I would watch it but I feel like it would just become stale. Yes I'm saying this prior to gen 5 but Gen 4 already lost alot of steam by the end and gen 5 is gonna technically pick up the same themes, tone, etc. So like over saturation is likely.

I want it a prequel to FiM. I want it a full on backstory to Tia and Woona's life. That would expand the universe that you already created. I want to know what happened to Tia and Woona with their relationship and before Nightmare Moon happened. Why can't we get that?! It's a millions times better than the bullshit that we had to go through in the later seasons.

Hell, why not a Twilight and the Gifted Unicorns spinoff? Or a Rainbow Dash's Junior Speedsters spinoff? Or a CMCs spinoff? Or a Spike spinoff? That would've been great!
