How powerful are Dragons in MLP FIM?

I always felt like MLP nerfed the dragons and buffed the ponies.

The episode 'Dragonshy' has a pretty formidable dragon in it...even if it wasn't a match for Fluttershy's admonitions.  But honestly, who could withstand that kind of scolding?

The dragon in 'Owl's Well That Ends Well' is pretty intimidating too. 

They may not be main characters but for their part they present a force to be reckoned with.

Dragons grown by greed seem pretty powerful. But later in the series doesn’t portray them as that mighty. At least the big dragons seem to have gone absent

I don't think they are very powerful, but powerful enough to cause a lot of destruction.

Indeed, but who is. Fluttershy is clearly the strongest and toughest being in the ponieverse :>

I also agree wit feeling dragons have been nerfed in contrast to the ponies, but that's okay for this show. Besides they are powerful enough to annoy and destroy the citizens.

In Season 1, very powerful and big and cool..... or in case of Spike, boring and no fun.
