How Was Everyone's Christmas/Holidays?

So, it's the day after Christmas, so how was everyone's holidays? I had my immediate family (all vaccinated) over for the first time in years and it was great. We exchanged gifts, had a huge dinner, then played card games for several hours that had us all laughing and having a great time.

For gifts, I got two new shirts, a hoodie, a plush D20, a copy of Sonic Forces, the game Sushi Go Party, and a Funko Pop of Blue Belle from G1.

It was very good and relaxing. I needed a day or two off since I have been so packed with work and extra hours lately. Also we watched the new spiderman on theater and want to get pho, so that was fun!

It went well almost surprisingly as there was some slight delay of course because of covid there wasn't the usual going to church as is the tradition. Rather the family got together, having a feast together then opening presents. You know as per tradition, so it was very good.

Was great. Went to my parents' place for a few days and saw some close family members, went to mass at a monastery, ate a lot, slept a lot. Can't complain overall

It was very nice. Another quiet year but I really loved being with the family.

Christmas was pretty nice. Ate lots of good food, relaxed and watched some movies. 

Got to drive around too now that I have a car and the sheer independence/freedom I have is just amazing.

My Christmas was good. I had lunch with the extended family, as we usually do and I spent the night driving and admiring all the Christmas lights.

Mine was quite nice. There were some changes to the decades-old approach to a lot of it, and it improved matters dramatically for me. Rather than exhausting myself with some fairly over-the-top traditions I’ve maintained over the years, I streamlined them into more manageable tasks that represent a traditional approach in a smaller and less stressful way. There was also a change from the Christmas dinner from turkey to Prime Rib, which was easier to make and less tranquilizing on Christmas Day when everyone was getting tired from being up early. Gifts were nice too, but I think they should be trimmed back just a little more next year. We added some new led lights to the tree and it really made a beautiful difference to the overall display. I’d say it was all nicely improved over the usual.

Plenty of prime rib left over due to a last minute decision, which...we're still eating.

It is nice that it is over, as people get back to their boring lives, I get to be outside by myself, fresh air, and my own thoughts. No Christmas-New-Year-smoker-diet-promise walking by every minute.
