Do you eat cake batter/brownie batter/cookie dough?

Not that fake stuff that's made to be eaten that way, the real thing when you're baking. I was just making some brownies and I wondered.

Don't freak out, I've done it all my life. There's only a very small chance the eggs will make you sick.

My answer is a gigantic YES as I can’t stop myself from eating it.

But @Fluttershutter eggs are from chickens, who sometimes have salmonella, which could make you very sick! :wau:

Anyways, I think I've had it a few times and didn't mind eating it. Not something that I've tried in a long time, but it's still something that I wouldn't mind trying again.

0.005% chance of getting salmonella. I'll risk it.

I’ve eaten it my whole life. When I’m baking I always eat the batter. I like it as much, if not more, than the cookies or whatever I’m making. It hasn’t made me sick (so far) and it would be worth it if it did.

Yeah, I've done it a good couple of times because it's just way too good to resist. I'm still alive, so the risk doesn't bother me much.

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

Sometimes. I don’t like anything too sweet so I don’t bake very much (plus the oven makes the kitchen heat up which is what I try to avoid this time of year).

I don’t mind raw egg though! It’s a pretty low chance of getting sick. Ah, now I’m craving some steak tartare… :nom:
