It depends on your definition of shyness. I'm an extrovert so it means I love people and being around them but it's mutually exclusive to shyness..

We're also talking about other, more personal, elements like showing a face and sharing a voice. There are many factors for why someone might be shy. Their enjoyment of being in the company of other people has nothing to do with whether or not they are shy. Everyone expresses different dimensions / aspects of themselves in different ways.

I usually prefer to interact with people who truly maintain my interest and attention, in a sense. I can talk to a lot of people, but in terms of developing friendship with a large amount of people? May not be something that I could maintain. I am into the idea of truly getting to know people for who they are, not everyone wants that.
