Ganondorf8 11,312 May 28 Share May 28 It's best to take a wait and see approach. While the Switch continues to be successful, said success has been slow these past couple of years. As such, they know that the time has come to focus on the next console and begin the transition. Nintendo would be wise to not make any mistakes given their past track record goes regarding successors to consoles.

The red ring of death was just a start, but also to be sure then investment is worth it in the long run, instead of buying it for one or two games and dealing with several dry years full of shovelware Sig by Discords

Nintendo needs to avoid another Virtual Boy/Wii U release and the months that followed.
