What do you miss most of the MLP fandom?

Are there specific content creators, musicians or general things you miss to this day?

Gosh, I really miss those ask blogs on Tumblr with users roleplaying as characters. I miss roleplaying as a character! Pasting little pixel ponies in HTML on my Tumblr Blog. Of course, a ton of content creators were bringing out updates on new projects everywhere. I wasn't able to catch up on every episode as it released because of my age and broadcasting times on television clashed with school. I deeply wish I could contact some older mutuals I used to chat and draw with, but that'd be like finding a needle in a haystack. :please: I'm just happy with the memories alone!

Are there any happy memories you'd wish to relive again? A specific convention, meetup, an episode you remember watching? I'm curious to know!

In a way I miss they hype, it was pretty cool seeing so many references to MLP in places you really wouldn't expect it like action movies and on celebrity talk shows simply because it was just the new big thing
There are also the conventions, fortunately a lot are still ongoing and I know of group meetups being arranged still which is really nice to see but the giant that was Bronycon ending hits a sore spot.

The activity, the size. Waiting for a new FiM episode to air and then discussing it online felt like a big event. All the conventions and how big they used to be. Even if I didn’t attend it was cool to see the photos online. All the fan content that was being made day in and day out. That basic 2D pony OC creator we all used back in the day. The fan theories.

Being a big community really is a blessing and curse, though. Some of the absolute worst things in the community happened during and around its peak. There was, inevitably, a lot of scummy folks. Not even just big content creators taking advantage of their fame, just regular posters or what have you. It’s impossible to smudge out every troll or jerk when a community is as big as MLP was at its peak. As a smaller community now it’s easier, the fandom is a lot more tame, the people that have stuck around and people that are still discovering the show tend to be a lot nicer than the ones that were around at the peak and then left.

I really loved MLP references everywhere on the internet. I loved MLP servers when playing online games where people were completely diffrent. The servers them-selves used to be a different world with pony music, pony content and no aggression. Only lots of fun... I miss them so much...

Waiting for a new episode was great and I was always so happy when it turned out to be an epiosde about Pinkie Pie :jazz-hooves-please:

Mlp ruling the internet. Even people who didn’t watch the show know about ponies. Also the creativity was peak before, a lot of great music, fanart, fan game, fanfic ,…

Not playing the boomers here, but now many artists are just copying each other in terms of style or “headcanon ideas” or just do trend over and over.
