"I know, I just felt like lifting somepony in the air that's all." she replied Carrick with a smile.

 

"Anyway, if you're going to cast the spell make it fast so we can get moving, it's getting a little bit boring." she said.

"Okay, I'll give it a go." She said as she attempted the spell. Magic swirled around her and in a flash of light she had wings."Oh my." She exclaimed shocked that the spell worked.

'Ugh, I don't feel so good.' She thought as the magic left her nauseous, she leaned a little on Blaze for support.

"Hmm... are your mp reserves dry already?" Blaze asked the unicorn currently using him for support. "We might have a problem if both of us are tapped out and we havent even gotten to Ice star yet. I happen to have an mp elixer in my pack but it is only enough for one pony," Blaze thought out loud.

"No it's okay, I still have enough to cast spells, I just felt a little dizzy cause of the complexity of the spell." She said and stopped leaning on Blaze.

"Let's go then." She said flying up a few meters off the ground trying out her new wings.

"Here Carrick, I can levitate you." Blaze said as his horn glowed and covered Carrick in an aura that telekinetically held him right beside Blaze. Blaze Stretched his wings, the wings that often got him mistaken for a phoenix. And lifted off, with carrick in tow.

Starbolt flew after them, but she didn't fly straight.

"Hold on." She called out having difficulty keeping up with their pace.

'Flying is harder than I expected.' She thought as she tried to keep up.

Carrick felt his body felt light. A magical aura held up as Blaze flew off. Carrick felt a little weird to be airborne. He has only been airborne a few times, though they weren't by some form of magic. He looked below as the grass below him slowly became smaller. Slowly a bit of fear came through him. He shook his off. A quick rush of thrill came instead. "It's a good feeling," Carrick thought aloud. Carrick turned his head to Starbolt. "Take your time, it is your first time flying" Carrick said.

Thunder scooped up Trixie before he flew up to the rest before he literally flew circles around them. "You guys are a bunch of Noobs," he chuckled as he saw Starbolt going at such a slow pace.

Daeva was worried those wings of Starbolt's would ware out so she said "If anything happens to you and your wings Starbolt, then remember to yell for help and I'll be there." Daeva said as she gave her a few tips on how to fly.

"Oh whatever Thunder, this is my first time flying." Said Starbolt rolling her eyes at him.

"Thanks, Daeva." Said Starbolt noting her tips and improving her pace.

"Sorry I'm not that fast." Said Starbolt.

"Dont challenge me thunder, you will lose" Blaze said as if stating a fact. "The only reason why I am flying slowly is for Starbolt's sake, I have been flying my whole life. I pride myself in being the fastest alicorn in canterlot, well besides princess celestia of course."

"I think you should take the attention at hand. Though a race would be thrilling. I rather not fall, because your attention was busy with something else." Carrick said.

 

Carrick pulled out his notepad as wrote down the events that happened in the train. A device that would blown up the train. We...are in the right track. If this was poker game, I'd just call Ice Star's bluff. I wonder if he'll actually play....will they die? I guess I'll know soon enough. Carrick adjusted his fedora. Ironically, the train situation did not tense him off. It actually calm him down. Let's see what happens...

"I'm getting bored flying this slow with everypony, isn't there a way to speed this process up?" Daeva asked Carrick as she starts getting the slightest bit impatient.

 

"I don't really mind but this is taking a lot longer compared to my speeds I normally travel at." she said as she fooled around.

"Well if I am correct I beleive we are more than half way there already. It should only take us thirty more minuetes. Just look" Blaze said looking forward, off in the distance a massive mountain on the horrizon, a thick layer of cloud made it impossible to see how tall the mountain actually was.

"Also, we have to take Starbolt's inexperience into account. If we do go faster, we could have her trying to rush and could lead to something bad. " Carrick visually imagined Starbolt crash into a cloud and than get lost because of it. Which could lead to something of a search party which would than create a longer time period.

"I understand, since there's no point in rushing you lets talk the time away." she said as she continued.

 

"Since we're heading to the mountains right now, what should I be aware of if I bump into Ice Star?" she asked Carrick.

"There probably a low possibility of seeing Ice Star. If he is smart, he would know that we are on track of his residence." Carrick looked back at the notes of Ice Star. "However, if you do see him. Run. As fast you can. He has twenty-five confirmed kills. We had to deal with mind control ponies. There also a possibility that he had a tongue that could trick Twilight Sparkle...least it's a possibility he has. If he gets control of you or of the ponies in this group, all hell breaks lose. Regardless, the whole reason why we're going here is to obtain more information on him. To form a plan of attack..."

She was amazed by such powers such as mind control.

 

"Imagine if that bastard took control over me, nopony would be able to defeat me. Though if I do tap into my powers again I could wound Ice Star. I'll avoid him if I ever see him." she replied.

 

She really wanted to laugh at how she lied yet again that she won't be avoiding him but instead of she ever sees her she'll be flying straight at her to beat the crap out of him.

 

Then after a while of thinking she knew it wasn't the smartest idea somepony could think of.

"Hmm..." Carrick saw the look on her face, he inaudibly sighed. It doesn't matter. Let's just move on. Carrick looked at the mountain. The snow started to fall down slowly upon the ponies. The weather started to become chilly. "Let's hope things will go smoothy." Carrick said as they approached the enormous mountain.

"I've missed the cold air, it's been a while since I've traveled to such a place. Look at all those snowy mountains!"

 

She flew down and made a few snow balls to take back up due to the lack of entertainment around her.

Carrick gave a "heh," It really has been a while since he seen cold air. It doesn't see too much where he lived. "Yeah, I don't think I've traveled this far up on mountains. Not exactly easy for an earth pony to do such a thing. Plus, I don't really have much to travel except for certain cases." Carrick said to her.

Daeva started throwing snowballs as hard as they can on the top of the mountains hoping to see a snowfall without the other ponies noticing.

 

After tossing all of her attempts away to cause one she flew down without notice and bucked the top of the mountain as hard as it can, bits and pieces of snow started rolling down so she flew back up to pretend nothing was happening and it looked as if it worked since nopony noticed.
