"Do you want me to cast any specific spell?" She asked him.

Starbolt realized she still had her wings so she started to fly around the cave to practice.

"Blaze or Daeva do you have any tips on flying?" She asked them.

"Unfortunately you can never work those wings at the same efficiency as an alicorn or pegasus can. They are conjured up by magic and therefore not actually part of your anatomy. You have no muscles in those wings so you cant really run them the same way we do. What you could do is use wind magic in unison with those wings to make you go faster maybe as fast as us." Blaze explained

Carrick blinked at Ponyborn, Huh...that happened. He turned to Daeva. "We don't really have Dummies, Daeva. Though, I can make a visual demonstration." Carrick looked at Trixie.

 

"Trixie, come here." Trixie obliged.

 

"Let's pretend that this is our lovely enemy." Carrick pointed at Trixie. Carrick took a few steps behind Trixie. "Me, Ponyborn, and Thunder will standing in the front lines taking the full barrage of the attack." Carrick takes another few steps behind. This is where the support team will stand, probably a bit more farther away, but let's just pretend that they're there. They'll be in the most case blocking the pony's snowstorm. Visuals are an important role. I and the others need to have clear view on who we're attacking."

 

"Than, there is you. The ace in this fight. You have the ability to become invisible. Let's used that to our advantage. Five minutes after we get out of the cave you turn invisible. You'll have to fly above the ground, I don't want any tracks, because the whole idea is that you died in that storm. I decided that it would of been a risk to carry you in that storm, let's just said it would of been killed both of us. When we do meet the pony." Carrick walked behind the where the support was took steps to the left and walked forward behind the pony."

 

"This is your position at least twenty meters behind the pony, you'll be on the stand-by until I make the signal is called. When the signal is called you rush in and go for an attack." Carrick went behind Trixie and tapped her in the back. "From there is an all two-pronged attack from both sides."

 

"The spells as stated a bit before would be spells to help our vision in this fight. Fire spells would probably be the best." Carrick answered Starbolt's question.

 

"Blaze stop drinking that for now, I don't want you going drunk before the fight. That could be....problematic. Hold it off for a bit later." Carrick said.

Starbolt nodded at Carrick and practiced a couple of flame spells towards the wall leaving dark burn marks.

"Okay, I guess I'm ready." Said Starbolt feeling rather confident that they will be able to take this pony down.

"How would you like me to rush in and go for an attack?" she asked Carrick.

 

"Anyway, I'll be up the skies watching out for you from above.." she said.

 

Daeva was starting to get impatient about waiting around inside a cave.

"Just go straight in for a tackle, nothing too fancy. We just need to apprehend her and stop her magic abilities so she can be defenseless and go straight in for an attack. Now than," Carrick saw the anxious looks on each and every pony. He tipped his hat down and chuckled under his breath, "I think....we should head out now. I think everypony becoming a bit impatient waiting, I guess I don't blame you." Carrick walked out of the cave. The strength of the snowstorm hit right through Carrick and the group as the get out of the cave.

 

Damn this weather, hopefully it will die down when we finish that pony. Carrick dig under the snow, as he saw the path under his hooves. Alright, let's just follow this path again. Carrick continued to walk as the battle ahead will be a tough one...

Carrick gave a soft laugh, "That would be a Celestia's blessing. However, I have made some plans for any...problems to occur in the fight ahead of us. So, don't worry too much" Carrick gave one of his first smiles. He kept slowly walked ahead, to look below him for the path.

Daeva flew out of the cave and flew over beside Carrick.

 

"So Blaze or Starbolt will charge the rune up on my hoof after five minutes has past and I'll be up in the skies watching over you until the pony shows up, and when you give me the signal I'll charge over and 'Tackle' her right?" she asked.

Carrick nodded, "Yep, that's how that will work. You tackle the pony down and try to hold off while the others will try to either A, apprehend her for questions. or B....kill the pony. Hopefully it won't go to B, but I don't want any of our ponies to die, because I didn't want to kill the pony. " Carrick adjusted his fedora back to normal

"Well, this plan sounds fine and all but it seems to me you aren't taking full advantage of the fact that pegasi fly," Thunder piped up from the Back. "You also assume that the hooded pony can only create snowstorms, if she has an attack that takes out the support group, we're screwed."

Blaze listened to the plan it was a sound plan, but then Carrick told Blaze to stop drinking. Blaze refused "I would not be able to cast as little as a spark spell if I dont regain MP and fast" Blaze said taking another sip "I am sorry carrick but this is the only way I can be helpful"

Carrick gave a sigh, he shook his head. There goes one of my back-up plans...I only have one more left, this isn't good. "Very well, Blaze. Just....don't do anything rash, alright? We don't have time for screw-ups." Carrick said. Slowly, they were going to reach Ice Star's manor. "Well, now is a good time for Daeva to go invisible."

Daeva became invisible, though it worried her a little bit.

At this point Blaze was fully inebriated he couldnt see completely straight and he started to say things he would normally never say. "Hay Starbot why dont you and I... *Hiccup*... what was I saying again?" Blazes words were slurred and his words were out of character as he stumbled behind every pony.

"Hey Carrick, I think Blaze has been drinking too much he's now drunk." said Daeva as she facehoofed herself even if nopony saw..

 

"Maybe we should find another cave and wait till Blaze is less drunk."

"I'll have what he had!" Thunder chucked as Blaze made a complete fool of himself. Thunder just watched his antics for a bit then took stock of his inventory. "I've got knives, mini thunder clouds, chains and- er nevermind, oh and a special Flame spell in a bottle!"

"Mister Carrick, we meet again and LOOK you brought friends again." The hooded figure turn to them. She saw the group. She didn't seemed to impress by the group. She looked at each and every...."Where that demon pony?"

 

Carrick looked down, a . "S-she passed away."

 

"Oh? Pity, she was such a cute pony." the pony had a bright smile under the robe that nopony could see. "So, you're here for round two, aren't you?"

 

Carrick nodded, "I'm going to finish what I've started. For her sakes."

 

"Very well. Though that's a lame reason." Her horn started to glow...

Daeva flew up into the skies and waited to see what would happen, she was also waiting for Carrick to give her a signal though if things get ugly.. Hopefully not.

 

She sat on one of the clouds in the skies and watched.

Blaze launched blue fireball so hot that it melted the snow behind it, it flew over the other ponies head and was headed straight for the unknown foe.
