Clocks looked around the rubble, seeing if he could take anything to use from it. But he found nothing after a few seconds. Clocks sighed and sat down and began to think. He was unsure what to do while he waited for everyone to get ready. Hypno, Fire, Midnight, And Clocks himself seemed ready. But Sapphire seemed to be still looking around, and Hypno was unsure if Snow needed anything.

Corpus took a deep breath, he felt the end of the Zerrif's life as he was burnt to the core by the presence of Blaze. Things are getting bad, one has been killed and two have went AWOL. If this continues, Ice Star will not be pleased. Corpus started to think about it. He took a deep breath as he felt it was time to retreat. I think it's time to blow this place up...

Snow looked at Hypno as she seemed to wonder about her. She gave him a smile and said, "I'm ready, Hypno." Snow said.

The runes in the place seemed to glow in his MP sight. One of them was growing bigger and more complex, and he ran over to it. "Starbolt, what does this one mean," he said, tapping it. In the back of his brain, there was a hazzy memory and a sense of deja vu. He also had a bad feeling.

Hypno nodded "Alright, everypony, lets head out" Hypno said to the ground group and Snow and he headed for the door. Clocks, Midnight, Fire, and Shadow followed him out to it. He reached the door and opened it and waited for Everypony else before starting off towards his house with a slow trot.

A pony ran up to Corpus. There hadn't had much conversation since Corpus taken Carrick and the others. He saw Corpus still meditating to hold up his magic power. He realize what he had done. "Sir, you did?"

 

Indeed I did. There isn't much time to explain, we have a place to blow up.

 

He realized what Corpus "But, sir...Ice Star will be coming soon, isn't it time to be prepared to send in-"

 

I talk to Ice Star on what has occurred, this place and the others has official become a liability. They've always been, but we wanted to be cocky about it. I guess that's why we failed...we thought we could gloat in everypony's face....

 

"Can't we just kill them now?"

 

No...I thought it was to used them...,but even now....It's hard to understand Ice Star, but he will create the world and to question him will be questioning god. I will follow him. That's what I was born for.

 

"I don't believe that."

 

Now's not the time to worry about such things. Tell the troops that we'll be heading out. We'll be meeting with Ice Star back over at....

 

"You mean-"

 

Of course, where it all started. Such a clichè. Time to wrap it up.

Daeva had no idea what happened, the next second she saw Zerrif her whole body was perfectly sliced right between her. Blood splattered everywhere as her organs fell out and a pile of blood formed around her dead corpse. It was the end of her, or maybe for a normal pony..

 

The demon within her slowly came out of her body and casted a spell around the place where Daeva died, the bits and pieces of her started floating and slowly morphed back together. After a few seconds, her heart started beating again but she was still unconscious. The demon flew straight into her mouth and back inside.

 

After an hour or two she woke up and gasped for air. The last thing she remembered was being sliced into half, she was surprised she could see light again as she looked around and saw Blaze laying on the floor. As she was slowly approaching him she saw a charred body of Zerrif, but she ignored that and ran over to Blaze to see if he was okay..

((This post is NOT a premonition. It is more of a afterlife kinda deal))

As Blaze lay there unconscious his mind drifted in a subconscious dream state. In the dream his body was floating in a warm ocean. His eyes were closed and he floated without a care. Allowing the waves to carry his body wherever. Soon enough his body touched shore. He eventually opened his eyes and heaved his body into an upright sitting position. He was sitting on a sandy beach of an island. He noticed though that he was not the only one on this island. As there was a navy-blue adult pegasus mare with a sky blue beautiful mane standing just no more than a few meters from where he washed up. Blaze tensed up as he had no idea who this pegasus was.

"Well, hi there child" Her voice had a soothing assuaging tone to it. It instantly made Blaze feel welcome. Blaze noticed that her cutie mark was an open book with a quill writing in it. Blaze began to feel that he knew this pegasus from somewhere.

"Um... Greetings" Blaze said "Do I know you?"

She laughed. Her laugh brought back some form of nostalgia. "No, I suppose we have not met on a personal level. But we have seen each other face to face a very, very long time ago" She said

It was then that he realized just who this mare was that stood before him. "F-Flurry? F-Flurry W-Winters?" Blaze stuttered.

"The one and only" She said with a smile "But perhaps you should call me 'Mom' instead" She said with a big grin as she embraced Blaze. The embrace only lasted for a quick second before Blaze broke it off.

"But how is this possible? Is this like when I met dad through the amulet?" Blaze asked

"Hmm... no. It is not like that. Do you remember what you were doing before washing up on this shore?" Flurry asked

Blaze thought about it. It took a bit of effort to recall, but the last thing he remembered was Daeva getting chopped in half by Zerrif. He also remembered charging up for a SS class spell.

"Yeah, I saw my marefriend get killed right in front of me. I then remember charging up Magic to perform a risky SS class spell but that is the last thing I remember." Blaze said

"Yes, it seems you may have overworked yourself more then you thought. You see, you are on the precipice of the afterlife. I was allowed permission to meet you here." Flurry said

Afterlife? Blaze thought so such a thing exists... but more importantly am I dead?

The thought struck Blaze as odd, death did not seem so bad to him.

"Wait does that mean I am dead?" Blaze asked

"No, at least not completely. This place is a place of choice. Some elderly wash up on these shores when it is time for them to choose if they want to continue to live or if they feel too tired to go on." Flurry said

"So you are saying that I have a choice? To stay here with you in this warm happy place or to go back to that world or war and death?" Blaze asked. The thought of staying here did not seem so bad to Blaze Daeva was dead, so why should he go back to that world, what is keeping him there?

"Yes. You do have a choice. Stay here in happiness or live on in a existence of uncertainty." Flurry answered

"Well my answer is obvious." Blaze said. "I choose to live on!"

"But why is that? You can have all of the happiness you could want if you stay here." Flurry said

"Yes, and someday I may end up here once more. But right now, I have friends that need me. I have people that are relying on my back in the world of the living. And as much as I would love to sit here in this world of happiness. I need to help save those ponies." Blaze said.

"And you are certain that you want to go back?" Flurry asked

"I am absolutely positive." Blaze confirmed

Flurry approached Blaze and kissed him on the forehead, Blaze closed his eyes. "Your answer is the correct one, I am so happy that you have such strong values. You have grown up into quite the amazing colt. I love you Blaze. May we meet again, but maybe not too soon. Don't worry I can wait." Flurry said, her voice falling more faint with every word

 

"Definitely"

Blaze said as he opened his eyes only to notice that he was back on earth laying on the ground, with a curious Daeva standing over him wondering just what he was talking about. "D-Daeva!?!? YOU ARE ALIVE?" Blaze yelled with exuberance

The ferret, Magic M'coy, was sitting on a couch in the empty house, he felt rather solitary until a ring at the door appeared. He figured Hypno was here again, so get got up and walked to the door. He took a large form and walked to the door on two of his paws. He walked to it and opened it. To his surprise there was somepony new at the door.

 

"This is a robbery! Move out of the way and nopo-" Was all the mare got out before she looked confused at the large ferret standing at the door. "Miss, trust me, you are robbing the wrong place" Magic said to the mare with a rather unamused look.

Sapphire was following Hypno and the group as they turned a corner she heard a mare yell something about robbing. Sapphire saw what she was up to and quickly went to incapacitate her. She swept at her hooves with the shaft of her spear and aimed the spear to her neck. "Bad time to be robbing ponies, don't you think?" She said.

 

Fae followed and watched Sapphire sweep the mare of her feet.

 

Starbolt studied the rune. "I-I don't know what it is." She said to Quickly in a worried tone.

The pony looked baffled at the weasel at the door, she merely made out a "Huh?" sound before the shaft connected, she turned and it hit her right in the snout, knocking her back and into the ground. "Ow ow ow ow" She said over and over grabbing her nose.

 

Hypno watched this rather concerned while the rest just looked amused.

Sapphire noticed the weasel at the door. She lowered her spear slightly in confusion. "What in Equestria..." She mumbled as she stared at the rather large weasel.

 

Fae noticed the weasel at the door.

 

Starbolt looked at the runes trying to make out what they do.

"Hey Magic." Hypno said from the back.

Magic replied back with "Hey Hypno" They both sounded nonchalant as they talked.

"Is theeeeere a problem here?" He asked with a laugh

"Doubt it, this mare just showed up though"

 

The mare looked at the group "I'm sorry, ya got me..." She said looking down. "I just really need some bits..."

Sapphire lowered her spear. "Stealing is not a way to be getting bits. Try getting some work, it's far less dangerous than robbing ponies," She told the mare.

Sapphire turned to Hypno. "Why is it talking?" She asked him.

 

Fae studied the weasel, she found it rather interesting.

"Lost story short, it's a pony's soul that i put in a ferrets body." Hypno said before looking to the mare.

"I'm not an 'it' miss, i am Magic M'coy.... er... was..." He said

 

The mare looked sad "Tried that, failed, i live out in the streets, nopony would hire me for a job." She didn't want to say homeless, since homeless ponies were uncool in her mind.

Quickly punched the wall three times in quick succession, cursing. Then he switched to praying, audibly, to Luna, which was rare even among Nighthunters. While most ponies were wary of her being Nightmare Moon, and indeed Nighthunters, who have loved Luna, but felt betrayed, it very much seemed that Quickly was praying to her like a Holy Inquisitor.

Sapphire nodded and let the pony stand. "Look, please don't go robbing other ponies. Come with us, I'll be sure to let Luna know that you have helped us and you could be handsomely rewarded." Sapphire told the mare not using Celestia's name because of what she assumed she did.

 

Starbolt knew this rune had a negative effect. "This is not good." She mumbled.

Carrick eyes popped up, he went over to both Starbolt and Quick as they both worry about the glowing rune. He placed his hoof on it which had no effect "Well it hasn't activated yet. So, we don't have much time to worry about antics. We just need to find a way out of here before we either lose are senses or die." He said. Carrick couldn't use his notepad this time, all we had was his mind. He started to think hard about it...

Quickly stopped praying when he heard Carrick talking. He heard him talk about planning and nodded, "Before I left, Blaze said he was going to lay seige to this place. Judging by this rune, I'd guess Zarrif, so my bet is that this is insurance in some way..." He resumed praying, more quietly.

Starbolt felt the magic being given off by the rune. "What ever it is it's not good. The rune is getting more energy charged into it as we speak." Starbolt told the two ponies. "We have to get out of here." She added in a worried tone. Starbolt looked around for any other runes.

"So Blaze is here...hm." Carrick thought about it. He slowed touched the stones again as an idea popped into his mind. He remembered to soft sounds of Quick tried to buck the wall in. However it would take a tremendous force to do it in one strike. Carrick turned to both Starbolt and Quick. He wasn't sure what Starbolt can do since she had primarily been a magic user and they don't usually trained their bodies, but with Quick. "If we can create a powerful impact on the wall where you hit it, we might be able to break through it and with three ponies this might just work." Carrick concluded.

Starbolt nodded. "Okay, I guess I'll give it a go Carrick." Starbolt replied to Carrick. She stood and looked at the wall and the main trap rune in the room. 'I wonder if I can cast a spell and get out before the rune gets me?' She thought to herself contemplating whether or not to cast a spell.

Quickly nodded and took up a position next to Carrick. He ended his prayers and took a deep breath. He exhaled, then nodded, "Ready. I've never apple-bucked, but I've been told I have to much muscle. On your count then?" He looked expectantly at Carrick*

Starbolt took position next to the two ponies. "We also have to be careful of other runes in place. Once we break a hole through the wall be prepared to run out of the room." She said to the two as she readied herself to help break down the wall.

 

Fae hovered next to Hypno.

Carrick nodded at both of them, he wasn't sure it would break the wall if they all did it once. Still, as long as Carrick, Starbolt, and Quick had a ounce of energy left, he knew we'll continue. Carrick took a deep and positioined himself at the wall. "Alright, ponies. One....Two....Three!" Carrick bucked the wall. A shock-wave from all of the ponies when they all hit the wall. Carrick grunted from the pain that surrounded his legs. He looked behind him. The rune seemed unaffected by their actions, it seemed like the shock was only from the outside. Not inside. Were these wall that thick?

 

Even with three ponies, they didn't have enough energy to break the wall. Their effort was just enough to create a small crack from where they all bucked. Carrick looked behind him Maybe if we had other ponies from the outside. Maybe...but we need to push forward!, "Again! One....two....three."

Quickly bucked again, aiming for the crack. He was bucking as hard as he could, but he was beginning to feel the long flights from the previous day. He looked at the other ponies. Starbolt seemed tired, no surprise there. She hadn't been doing exercises. Carrick was strong, but he was looking a bit tired as well. Quickly decided to pretend he was training and got back into position.
