Carrick pulled back, his rational had continued to complain to him on why this will end badly. His body wanted to do far more than this, but he smiled back at her. "I love you, Starbolt." He said it again. Carrick eyes quickly shrank just as the words slipped from his mouth. I did it again.

"I love you too, Carrick." She replied smiling, but she then noticed Carrick's expression.

"What's wrong Carrick?" She asked concerned worried that she did something wrong.

Carrick was hesitant to say his words. This is a delicate situation, he didn't want to screw things up. He really didn't want to see her sad. "Well, everything has been going really fast." Carrick said.

 

"I'm just...worried..." Carrick said.

"Don't be worried." She replied trying to make Carrick feel better.

Starbolt hated to see Carrick so worried. "Do you want to be alone first? I could leave the room if you want." She asked him.

"No, it's fine. I've been thinking about it a lot." Carrick admitted. "I like you a lot, I just don't want to mess this up." Carrick hugged her. He embraced her tightly, a lot of emotions keep coming to his head. He really didn't want to screw this up.

Wings smiled, he pointed the direction of east. "I'm pretty sure we'll meet again, stranger." Wings stick his tongue out. "You can bet on it"

"You know," he says, sneakily, "Usually a good sign of two ponies meeting again is this." He quickly pecks Wings on the lips, runs out of the cabin while snapping his wings out, and taking off east. What a colt! Mmm, apples... Focus, it's time to get caught up he thinks, flying as fast as he can.

Starbolt felt relieved and hugged Carrick back.

"I don't think you can mess this up." She replied as the embraced each other.

 

 

Fae already exhausted all the ingredients at the apartment. But she had a plethora of potions. Healing too magical. Even some explosive potions.

Carrick hugged her tightly, I really hope so, Starbolt. Though my tendency to have bad luck with marefriends isn't really reassuring with me. I just hope everything will work fine. Carrick closed his eyes. He heard the sound of unlocking from the other door. "I think we'll be in big trouble if we're in here." Carrick said, poking his chin.

Wings was a bit ambushed by the kiss from Quick. A slight color of red came from his cheeks. However, it ended in an instant and Quick left the cabin. Oh, today has been a good day. Wings took out his guitar started to string his guitar.

Quick hummed absent-mindedly, landing at the bottom of the mountain. Alright, I see Carrick's hoof print, and Starbolt's, basically everypony's except Blaze, Daeva, and Thunder. I'll see where this takes me. he thinks, taking off again.

Starbolt sat on the bed and leaned on Carrick. "I wonder how this will all end. But when it does I want to be with you." She told him.

She stared out of the window next to the bed looking up to the sky.

 

(OOC Sleeping now. Night everypony. If they leave the apartment Starbolt will follow them.)

As Daeva woke up she knew something wasn't right, the door was open and the lock was completely smashed off leaving bits and pieces of the scraps on the floor. She thought to herself 'Why would somepony break off my door?' as she opened the door and left the room quietly.

 

She went down the stairs to see nopony at all, not even the pony that works there. She went over to the staff door and opened it even if it says it's not allowed, she saw blood splatters all over the doors as if somepony just randomly exploded. It gave her a shock as she quickly backed off, it was really disturbing even for a demon.

 

After what she saw she thought going outside would be the next best thing, she flew out the door and saw two runes on the floor and Blaze lying on the back of a wall. "Blaze! Are you okay?" she said as she hurried over to see if he was fine. 'What could have knocked him back and unconscious without any bruises?' she thought.

Thunder had went off to get food when they first arrived and was on his way back when he saw Daeva and Blaze. "What happened here," he asked as he landed beside them and set the food down. "He got bucked up," he muttered.

Clocks and Hypno both walked into the house.

"Oooohooohohoo dey went inta da bedroom" Clocks sang still keeping his grin as he jumped into a chair.

Hypno sighed and went "Shuddup" quickly. "You haven't changed a bit"

"And i never will lose my style" Clocks replied.

Daeva saw Thunder approaching with some food in his hooves, he flew down and asked Daeva "What happened here?"

 

"I'm not sure Thunder but when I came out of the inn he was laying on the back of the wall unconscious with these two runes near him." she explained.

Quickly landed in front of a sighn that said 'Welco me to Ponyland. He was a bit winded; silently he cursed himself for being out of shape. If I where Carrrick, I'd get transportation. I wouldn't trust a train, and certified transport wouldn't do it either. That means you need to know somepony, and the best place to do that is in a nightclub. Information flys from the mouths of the drunken, he thinks, walking to a Nightclub. It was closed of course, but if you know a thing or two, you know that doesn't mean a flying buck. He talked with the bouncer a bit, and then brought up Carrik's name.

 

"Your a friend of Carrik? He left with the boss last night. Step right in, my frriend, have a drink or two," he winked. I grinned back, he was a nice piece of tail, but he didn't even get close to Wings. I stepped inside, and bought something low in achoholic content; I was trying to rehydrate, not dehydrate. I talked with the bartender a bit, and then leaned in, asking, "So, you know where your boss went?" while dropping two bits othe counter. He casually pocketed it, and shrugged.

 

"Word around town is that they went ta' Filly' No idea why, some ponies are sayin' it has to do with friends," he said, as if we were discussing weather.

 

"Thanks. You got anything in a container? I gotta fly." He handed me a wat bottle in exchange for a bit. I thanked him and began to fly towards my objective.

Daeva had a bad feeling something was going to happen, she carefully picked Blaze up and flew up into the skies.

 

She spotted a skyscraper not far away so she flew over and placed Blaze down, there was no way up except flying there so she felt a bit safer there.

 

"Hey Blaze, are you okay?" she said as tears started dripping down from her eyes and onto Blaze.

Blaze was reliving those dreams over and over.

Blaze heard a familiar voice that woke him from the dreams instantly

"Yeah- I am okay" Blaze said groggily. "I was visited by one of Ice Star's men. He told me that if we continued on our quest that he would have not choice but to kill us" Blaze had a decision to make and he new that it was not going t be an easy one at that.

Daeva didn't know what to say after she knew somepony was going to kill them, she just sat there laying on Blaze..

 

"Maybe if we both start training now we will have a chance on defeating him.." she said as she wiped her tears off.

 

"I don't want to see you die!" she said as she jumped onto Blaze and hugged him.

Carrick stared at the skies.

 

Carrick got up, as he saw the night skies. He could see that the morning will come soon.

The detective held Starbolt in his arms. She slowly started to stay relax on that spot to be lulled to sleep. Those words she had said to him:

 

"I wonder how this will all end. But when it does I want to be with you."

 

I wonder what will happened after all of this ends. Will I be able to finish the case? Or will Blaze beat me to it? Does he have the skills for it? Will he get his magic back? I guess I'll know when all of this ends.

 

Carrick looked at Starbolt, Starbolt. I don't know why. Why are you so sure? Why can you be alright without knowing much about me? Is this what you pictured as love? Still, every time we're close together. I just can't help myself from saying those three words. Are they an act of lust? Maybe my rationality just pulls me out just before I can close it. I dunno.

 

Carrick sense came back as his ear heard the open door from the apartment....

A peagsus stood out in the doorway. He wasn't excepting visitors. He wiped his gel back hair as he saw the various strangers. He took the bottle of scotch and place it on the counter. He rubbed his orange fur. "Huh, I wasn't excepting visitors. Well, all I have is a bottle of scotch. I don't think I'll have enough for a party." The peagsus joked.

Hypno and Aces said nothing as Clocks tipped his hat "So you must be da guy dis Carrick pony wanted ta see" He said in the chair. "Well, i'll leave you two to talk, he is uhhhh in your bed or somethin' like dat" Clocks added.

Quickly, who had pretty much flown for two hours straight at top speed, collapsed on the outskirts of the city. He shakily got to his feet and started asking about the group. He found someone who saw something near a carriage parking area. He graciously thanked them, and started heading over to the specified place.

Its you that I am worried about Blaze thought. "Well, we better be going, we have a long road ahead and only a day or two to make it." Blaze pulled out the compass and took off eastward. He knew that Carrick would have already found his way there by now, Blaze desperately wanted to be the one to save the Wielders of Harmony, it was his task and he would complete it.

Thunder shrugged and put as much food in his saddlebags as possible and flew off to follow Blaze. "So I was thinking, since you seem to get your flank knocked around when you go off on your own, maybe me or Daeva should stick with you from now on," he told Blaze as he caught up.

"Carrick Murphy? Guess I'll go give him a nice hello." The peagsus chuckled as he walked to the bedroom. He opened the door to see Carrick laid on his bed on his right arm would be Starbolt. Resting peacefully, "I never thought you had it in you." The peagsus said.

 

"Yeah, it's been hell of a while since we've seen each other." He joked.

 

"Heh, get the hell off out of my bedroom." Carrick obliged as he picked up Starbolt and placed him on his back. "You know I don't like ponies on my bed."

 

"I know, I know." Carrick said he got out of the bedroom. He walked out to the living room to see the other ponies there. Carrick placed Starbolt on the couch. He saw the bottle of scotch and gave a "heh."

 

"Nice, still drinking aren't we?"

 

"Yup. Now, I'm guessing you aren't here to crash this apartment, what's up?"

 

"Well, we're looking for a certain pony."

 

"Alright, I thought so. Let me just relax." The peagsus went and opened the bottle of scotch. "Alright, spill."

Clocks, Hypno, and Aces all watched the conversation between Carrick and the new pegasus unfold. Clocks was obviously eyeing the Scotch that the pegasus had placed down, after a few seconds of that, Aces smacked him over the head to get him to stop. "Stop that ya mook" he whispered to him
