Inside the meditation chamber were a couple of what appeared to be support pillars. Zerrif was leaning on the support beam, he was out of sight and in the shadows but he knew that Corpus already sensed his presence long ago.

Quick grabed the bit and flew out an open window. He came straight back with a paper and set it next to Blaze, "The picture looks... Familiar. Like, I've seen it before. But when I try to think back to it, all I get is a big outline with a sword, a dark portal thing, and a red haze."

"Hmm... you are right. I have a feeling that this has something to do with what we have been up to these past couple of days. We need to be careful, we cannot let Starbolt see this paper, she might do something she might regret. I think what our next move should be is to plan. I need to heal a bit all the while training my magic, and we all need to figure a plan of attack." Blaze said

Corpus already could tell he was a vampire. He had a sixth sense for such a thing. So you're the one that Ice Star was talking about. The one with special eyes. He never told me what you were looking for, what do you seek? Corpus eyes opened up, he wonder what Ice Star had in store with this pony. Ice Star only looks for the strongest ponies, he wonder how strong was this pony.

"Icey told me you could fix this" Blood said as he opened up a pack at his side and pulled out a broken hourglass. Some regular looking sand was left inside, but it still leaked out from it. "The blood sand tis broken"

 

"Alright, c'mon ponies, we may miss da train!" Clocks said as he and Aces ran out from the forest, Hypno followed.

Hmph Zerrif mentally scoffed what does Ice Star see in this fool? I could kill Blood fifty times over without breaking a sweat

Hypno slightly chuckled at what Thunder had said as he left the clearing. They needed to get to the train, and fast.

 

Clocks could see the train start to come in sight, and it was still there. He mentally let out a sigh of relief.

The blood sand, I see. Let me see this hourglass, I think I might have a certain spell to fix your dilemma. Corpus was one to understand such a phenomena. He looked at Blood. He felt a dark presence around him. He wasn't sure about this, Ice Star was very vague about this. He wasn't usually like that. Still, the power of the hourglass might be of some use.

"Kay" Blood said childishly as he underhoof chucked the hourglass down and let it scrape to a stop at Corpus' feet.

 

Clocks and Aces reached the train and jumped inside "ALLLLL ABBOARDDD!!!" Clocks yelled out and waited for Hypno who got on seconds later.

 

Hypno then waited for Snow and Thunder.

"Hmph" This time it was a vocal scoff.

The blood sand... so HE has it. Zerrif remembered what Ice Star had told him. Maybe I overlooked this pony's importance

 

Zerrif began to walk away toward the exit of the chamber, not even bothering to be discrete about it. But then he stopped at the exit

"Oh yeah, Corpus, did you ever find that weapon I asked about earlier? That swor- er weapon might come in mighty handy here soon..." Zerrif said.

 

Yes, I found what you asked me to find. It is in the armory on the display table. The hourglass stopped at Corpus's hooves, Corpus went over to the alter and drew some runes on the pedestal, after that he placed the hourglass on the pedestal and used his magic to activate it. My magic is quite limited right now, I just cast a massive spell as you can tell. So this spell may take a while, I would say about 4 to 6 days. Even at max strength the spell would still take 2 days, but as I am right now, I am going to have to say it is going to take 5 days.

 

"Thanks comrade, I will be leaving soon so if you hear from Ice Star tell him his problem has been taken care of." Zerrif said as he left. Zerrif entered the armory, on the display table was the most magnificent weapon he had ever laid his eyes upon. It was a pure black gigantic executioners sword, it was sheathed in a red ornate sheath. The sword itself was similar to a katana, same blade curvature and was obviously oriental inspired, but that is where the similarities stopped. The swords blade was at least 2 feet in width and 5 feet in height, the tsuba (or hand guard) was very long but thin. The tsuba was barely thicker than the blade itself (which was only 2 inches thick).

 

Zerrif laughed in pure joy as he unsheathed the blade, the sharpness from the blade was so much that he could feel it in the air. He barely flicked his wrist and it sent a wave of sharp compressed air straight through the walls of the tower leaving a hole in the shape of a gash mark all the way to the outside. Zerrif took a look through the hole in the wall, and the hole in the wall after that, and the hole in the wall after that that led outside. "Fantastic!" Zerrif said as he sheathed the sword and strapped it to his back. One moment he was standing still in the armory and the next he was gone, without a trace.

"Ugh, that's a long time" Blood said with a sigh. "Meh, it'll be still worth it for me" He added as he sat down and started to preen his wings. "So, what up with the obvious tower in the middle of this city? Why not somewhere else?" He said "And what up with that tiger dumbell? He wanted a weapon? The tower is necessary for Ice Star's plans, it acts as a sort of lightning rod, but for MP waves instead of electricity. It had to be put here because this is the place that picks up the most MP Wave frequencies. That Tiger Dumbell as you say is actually stronger than I am and more clever too. He was chosen by Ice Star as his right hand and has a special relationship with Ice Star. He has the ability of MP Wave sense even though he is not a unicorn, and also has the ability of Swordmaster's WIll, Swordsmaster's Will is an ability that allows a swordsmaster to compress air into sharp blade like projectiles, it also allows him to move so fast that his perception of time is very slow. He is one of the few that has this ability and out of the few that have this ability his is the best and most defined. He came to me with a request about an ancient sword that was said to be crafted by the demon Resurat. It is perhaps the deadliest blade in all of existence and it now belongs to the deadliest swordsmaster in all of existence. Edited August 16, 2012 by Bronynonymous

Blood seemed to ignore everything else except the words special relationship. "They gay or sumfin?" He asked simply.

 

Hypno waited for Snow and Thunder to get on, then started the train on their way to Canterlot. The train itself looked rather fancy and expensive. And was loaded up with mobster-like ponies that were obviously Clocks' goons.

Daeva remembered that Aunty Vrya said she had a lot of guest rooms so she went up and chose one of them.

 

She opened the door "I guess this one's fine.." she said to herself as she slowly tucked herself into bed and was fast asleep.

Starbolt got up from her bed, packed her things and walked back to Blaze's aunt's house. While walking she noticed a paper that said: FILLYDELPHIA DESTROYED! Starbolt got the paper and read it. 'That's where Carrick was!' She thought as she remembered a small detail. She ran into Blaze's aunt's house and frantically started looking for somepony to show the paper to.

Fae followed her but said nothing not wanting to make the situation worse.

(OOC: Sorry Starbolt, Scout is in the Everfree xD) Quickly got up, again. He stretched and yawned and stepping out of his room crashed into Starbolt, who now had a paper in her hand. Hoof it, she found out. Aw man, now she's gunna do something rash. But if she does, I'm gunna go with her. What ever gets me back to Wings, faster. "Hi Starbolt. You can get offa me now."

"Quick. Fillydelphia. Carrick." She blurted out too panicked to compose herself.

Fae levitated the paper to Quick and gestured for him to read it.

"You see Quick. I'm sure Ice Star was behind that! Carrick must be somewhere there!" She exclaimed.

"I already saw the paper. I gave one to Blaze," he grins, "So, now I'm waiting to see what he wants to do about it, so that we don't do something silly, and accidently kill Carrick, or ourselves." Please don't do something stupid...

"Okay, okay, let's see Blaze and ask him what our plan is." She replied to Quick. Starbolt knew she had to go find Carrick alone if Blaze refused to do it. She followed Quick hoping he would lead her to where Blaze is.

He sighed and lead her to Blaze. "Blaze, she found a paper," he said, heading over to the sweets jar in the centerpeice on the table. He started to eat them and get lost in memories of before the boat ride.

Daeva was woken up by all the chatter outside, though it was faint she could hear it. She stood up and went downstairs where Blaze and the others were.

 

"Hey everypony.. What's up?" she asked as she rubbed her eyes with her hooves.

Starbolt levitated the newspaper in front of Daeva's face. "That's what's up." She said. "Blaze, we need to do something? Do you have a plan?" She asked Blaze frantically.

"Oh pony feathers! Lets not be to hasty Starbolt. Now we are trying to think up the best plan of attack. I need to heal with my wing or I will be useless, and I need to train my magic a bit more. We are going to stay here for a few days while we plan and train." Blaze said.
