Music help

I need help finding a good sound thing (i don't know the proper term) that will let you make music. If you wanted to know I want to get started in pony music and I have no idea where to start.

 

Oh and I have a windows 7 computer if that matters.

FL Studios is a good program that is pretty easy to get into and has tons of tutorials on youtube.

Abelton 8 Live is pretty sexy for the musics.

Those are pretty much the most commonly used music production programs. They're both pretty sufficient, but Abelton Live is a bit more user friendly and I personally have heard better music produced by it.

I prefer Acid Studio. For some reason i dind't like ableton. I've used other programs but i always fall back in love with making music acid studio.
