Alright. Critiquing the one who critiques!

Sometimes it sounds like you are trying to pronounce things too powerfully, and this makes your voice kind of quiver. Your pitch also shakes when you start a stanza after getting louder. I think that might be because you need to breathe more after each time. You should probably work on the parts where the pitch changes drastically.

Though listening to the original, your cover isn't bad at all! I'd say a 5.5/10, if I have to rate it. Good job.

I love that movie and to see someone attempting to sing the sing-a-along blog, it makes me wince. But I gave it a go anyways.

 

I myself have taken music lessons and choir, and have to say you may need some vocal exercises prior to singing. This would help loosen up your chords, and to help when you enunciate your S's. If you didn't know, the more you talk in a conversation or sing with too many S's in your words it will start to come out slurred or chocked out; this is well known in the radio and news industry. This can also extend to letters with S closeness, such as Z's.

 

You also need to practice different vocals on pitch and tone to bring out your voice. It's there, I can tell, but it's just not developed well enough yet.

 

Side note. Either get a better microphone or enclose yourself in a somewhat domed room when recording; you'll retain more of your voice in the recording and it won't sound echoed.
