I played it for a bit. I put it down after a little because of bigger and better games to play. Truly is an interesting concept. I mean who doesn't like futuristic physics stuff! Seemingly how much we tend to infer we will defy it so much in the near future.

As a side note, I legitimately feel bad for the other team when things like this happen.

I've been enjoying sentinel again lately. Today when I played, I was sniping on some cliff, when the enemy flag carrier went into this building that was close to me. He threw the flag away for a sec to use an inventory station, he didn't notice me so I managed to sneak in the building and take the flag back, before he could grab it. I laughed so hard

That's pretty much how I felt earlier today... Everything I tried just failed miserably. I even killed myself with my own orbital strike after being shot by an infiltrator, knocking me off this roof, where I was trying to aim at the enemy base. I have no idea why there would be an infiltrator there..

A few matches later I played the best match I had in ages. Enjoyed it alot, even though we lost. Yeah.

I also unlocked the raider and got 2nd on the scoreboard on the first match I ever played with it, without any upgrades. I really like that class

Well I haven't played this game in ages, so long that is was showing up as "closed beta" when I first started it

I played the original tribes and although the graphics were terrible the thing I enjoyed about that was the mods there were because were all this building you could do with stuff like shields that you could walk through and blast walls and turrets all which could be placed anywhere in the world. I also played Tribes: Vengeance as that had a campaign as well as multiplayer that I never got around to finishing.

 

When I play ascend I only ever really played as a technician and go around repairing everything because I was never good at Tribes and can't hit anything with any of the guns. The most annoying thing for me is when the enemy team kept destroying our teams generator and no one would defend me as I go to repair it.

 

I doubt I'm going to enjoy playing it but reading this topic has convinced me to give it another go. I use the same username in the game as on the forum.
