okay, I believe I know why it does thatm but I will have to check it out once I can. Which is... in two weeks. Sorry guys, but I am currently 1200km away from my working station and the source code. ( And on freaking IE 8... )

I am very excited for this, I used the old one before and I am eagerly awaiting for this one! Though my only complaint with it was that the notifications button on the Chrome would make it so that the

You could also add the last 5 messages? Also try making it for Firefox :)

Maybe try internet explorer although I find most people have switched to Firefox, Chrome or Safari (mainly Chrome and Firefox)

I agree it would be nice to have one for Firefox as I use that solely but I would imagine that the two browsers would work in different ways and it would take time which Neikos may not have to learn the workings of Firefox and it's add-ons if he doesn't already know it. Also even if he did know it would take longer still to write a add-on from scratch as I doubt much of the code from chrome would be compatible.

I assume this is the place to go to report bugs?

 

Sometimes, when I clear the counter, it returns after a while. It gives me a 1 for a brohoof'd post (and doesn't notify me of quoted posts, as well) then gives me another 1, but when I click on it it's the same brohoof on the same post. I check, and there's nothing it could possibly be for. It's nothing too major, maybe even a good bug because I like to see notifications every now and then. Is this happening to anyone else, or is it just me?

Just installed, and it works perfectly :D

 

The only problem I had was installing it, because just simply clicking the link gave a banner that said:

"Extensions, apps, and user scripts can only be added from the Chrome Web Store."

 

It's probably worth adding that to properly install it, users have to save the file then drag it onto the extensions page. :)

Hm.. normally you can install anything .crx by clicking on it. Perhaps did Google change that though. I wanted the Extension to be on the Web Store, but Feld0 wants it to be downloaded from the forums.

 

 

 

 

If there is a banner you want to add to the list of available banners you can either PM me about it ( I'm not going to add everything though, and you have to be the creator. ) or post it in the thread I made about a month back.

Generally, it is when someone quotes me that it won't show up in the extension. Brohoofs it does well, though.

I'm also having the issue of it not placing the notifications in the extension as well. Granted I'm generally on the forums anyway so it doesn't require any navigation, but still. On the bright side, at least now I know it wasn't something I did wrong on my end. :lol:

I can confirm this, and go bug Feld0 about it. I can't do anything about it as it is not my choice. ( I would just upload it, but Feld0 wouldn't like to not have total control over the extension! What if google goes down or something. )

I already asked the same question and Feld0 took the time to answer it.

 

I_wesley125 is actually wrapping up work on the equivalent Firefox extension right about now. ;) Follow his status updates for details.

Huh, must have missed that. Thanks Dave, I really appreciate it. I had the old extension but I got a new computer so I'd like to get the new one.
