I'd go with Aec'Letec from Baldur's Gate, especially thanks to the level cap hampering your growth. If he looks at you, you're dead in a few rounds as a Ghoul bursts from inside you; you have to use many potions of Mirrored Eyes to prevent his gaze attack. He hits crazy hard, and has insanely large health. What really makes it frustrating is the priests nearby; if you neglect to kill ANY of the four present, once you kill Aec'Letec himself, he just comes back, using the body of a priest. And there's the head priest, whose spells are pretty gnarly. Plus, Aec'Letec himself keeps casting Silence, which prevents you from whopping out your spells; his Slow casting really cripples your fighters, too. I was only able to beat him by cheesing with summoning so many creatures it did more than fill the screen, then keep using Wands of the Heavens and ranged attacks from afar. Sarevok is a whole 'nother story...

Hm, I'd have to go with Xion from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. She's got like, five forms, and ten different health bars, and if you're not careful she'll just throw you around like nothing, which makes sense since 2/5 of the time she's several times your size.

 

Another notable one is Caius Ballad from Final Fantasy XIII-2, the final one where there's three bucking dragons. That's all you really need to know about it. Three. Bucking. Dragons.

Before Square released hiw to do it and upped the the level limit to 100 mine was Absolute Virture and Pandemonium Warden in Final Fanasty XI Online

I had enough trouble with Vulcanus... Now a boss that can kill my level 96 in THREE HITS??? WHAT!?!?!?!?

I hardly have 3 characters of a decent level. THEY SKIP LIKE 20 LEVELS FROM NORMAL STAGES. YES 20!

Haven't played too many RPGs, so I don't have much to work with. Probably the final boss from Golden Sun. I never did defeat it.

Hmmm this is a tough one, though Dark souls (at least thats what I think it's called) takes the cookie everytime, every boss in that was freaking solid

-Any boss in the final dungeon of Final Fantasy IV(I just can't beat that game)

-The final boss of The Last Story(literally the only time in the game you need to grind, a ridiculous difficulty spike)

-The optional bosses of Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age(Deadbeard and Dullahan respectively, I was stuck forever on Dullahan)

-The Crystal King in Paper Mario(been a long time, but I remember that fight not being a pleasant experience)

Seriously, a boss that has a 100% chance of a 1 hit KO, no weaknesses, can't be poisoned, burned, cursed, etc...

pretty basic game, Terraria, but if you don't have the right gear, wall of flesh is pretty nasty to tango with. But I can't begin to feel for the people who brave dark souls (talk about bosses).

Actually nevermind. The Infected Aurora Unit on the Planet Phaze from Metroid Prime 3:Corruption. It took me like 17 trys and over 4-5 hours

for me kingdom hearts 2 sepheroth. i cannot wait for 2.5 so i can finally face terra's battle Armour oh and also play birth by sleep so many bosses await me

The last boss of Jak 2 on the ps2 that game in itself was so extremely hard... You know what I mean if you played it and beat it. 

 

Every boss in jak2-3 is a pain jak 3 childhood i miss it
