Ok I´m here again.

 

Project X is fucking overrated.

The people often says things like "I´m different!!!" and "I´m original!!" are usually the most boring and everyday ones.

Dreams like "I want to go to murrica" or "I want to go skydiving on Dubai" are not the actual dreams, because it´s easy to achieve.

The dreams are not here to come true, they´re here to be dreamed of.

Coffee tastes horrible. So does beer and other booze.

Drinking just to get drunk is stupid.

i think you have misunderstood the overrated underrated thing.

for example: if someone makes a totally normal song which isnt actually that special and doesnt stand out from the rest of the genre and people go OH SHAIT JUST WET MESELF!! then it's overrated.

another example: squarepushers "go plastic" isnt any different from the other albums he has made. yet people go THIS ALBUM IS A FUCKING MASTERPIEEEEECEEEE!!!! it is overrated.

 

The problem with that is everything you point out is merely a subjective opinion. "Isn't that special", "doesn't stand out from the rest of the genre", "isn't that different" are merely opinions. The very phrases overrated or underrated assume a "correct" or objective level of quality and a popularity that is respectively above or below it. My point is that there is no point arguing with success.

IRL friends are overrated. i haven't had a single IRL friend in my whole life, and the first socialization with people i did was via the internet. the first friends i made? last year. up until that point, i didn't have a single friend for SEVENTEEN YEARS. and i think i pulled out pretty well for not socializing extensively with anyone in elementary school and junior high.

It's okay not to feel bad for not spending time to help someone or give money for charity when asked.

Using proper grammar and a wide vocabulary in casual (Internet) chat doesn't necessarily make you a stuck up twit.

Not having friends can be an intentional choice, and an acceptable one.

You should be able to act outside stereotypical gender roles without people thinking you're weird.

1. Under no rational form of logic should you get a free ride in life solely because you are part of a minority.

2. I hate virtually all anime, barring a few.

3. Music should all be free, unless the music made had significant money invested into its production.

4. I hate porn. I think it is the most idiotic, immature, and utterly repulsive thing to be spat out of a human mind.

5. Pirating is wrong. Deal with it.

6. Sex is the most overrated, overhyped thing in all of existence. The entire concept has been bastardized far beyond redemption.

I agree with this. Had it before, thought it was okay. People blow it way out of proportion. I don't hate sex mind you, I would have it again if the opportunity presented itself, I just think it's grossly overrated.

Another opinion I thought I would add to this thread, that I don't think has been mentioned yet.

 

I like Blood On The Dance Floor. I love most types of electronic music, and I just like their music. However, I hate the fans who are all like 'omg how dare u hate on botdf, they're amazing and Dahvie and Jayy are my life <3 if you are a hater gtfo'. Those people really annoy me, and encourage more maters.

 

On a similar sidenote, I hate BrokeNCYDE, but still respect them, and the people who like them. I don't go and trash their songs on YouTube.

They may, but from what I've seen, not many people have spoken up about it. I got a crapload of hate once when someone was bitching about this one person that said they didn't like the video and told them to lay off. I said that some people just don't like it, so I got a million fan-girls attacking me. That is why I don't look at Youtube comments anymore.

 

Also, I have to agree with you on the Rebecca Black thing. I find it funny, and I like it. Not as a good song, but just as a comedy song. It's so cheesy and stupid that it's hilarious in my opinion.

 

The reason I don't like Rebecca Black is because, as a musician myself, she isn't very talented to begin with and because she didn't get into the music industry off of talent she bought her way in. It really annoys me when so many undiscovered talents are being overshadowed by a kid with rich parents. Let's face it, that's what Ark Music Factory is.

Many of mine involve music:

Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Puccini, and Rachmaninoff are overrated as far as classical music goes.

There aren't enough recordings of Schoenberg's music out there.

I love AMV's,

I dislike a lot of fan fiction,

I find classical is some of the best music,

I find Fred depressingly bad,

I think Chopin is one of the best composers,

I find Applejack and Pinkie Pie occupy the bottom two slots out of the Mane 6 (Not saying I don't find 'em all epic ),

I don't like McDonalds (Mainly because I am from Wales and they are all horrific),

And finally at a more humorous end, I, being British and all, hate tea from tea-bags and much prefer leaf tea.

1. I find Ocarina of Time a rip-off of A Link to the Past, seriously. It's a good game, but it's not the holy grail of gaming everyone makes it out to be.

I also dislike religion.

Beats by Dr. Dre are crude.

MP3 was a good format in the 90's, but its way of taking crap out of files leaves the music so... bland. It also intrigues me how people still use this 25 year old format wneh now enough storage space goes around in flash memory. Not saying to dump it entirely and get a new playlist, but it's disappointing.

I HATE the typical teens of my age that wear snapbacks, a jean vest, elite socks, and vans. That really ticks me off.

I cannot stand the fanbase of Justin Bieber, most are illiterate and bring up irrelevant things in arguments.

I hate summer and day time. It's too hot and uncomfortable, I like night better. The air is cool and pleasant.

I don't like modern pop/hip-hop music.

Yeah, I agree, but what I said was that I find the song a comedy. God, I don't think she's a good musician at all. I find the song hilarious because of the pointlessness of the lyrics and the not-so-good singing. I agree, people shouldn't be made famous because they have rich parents. That's probably where Rebecca went wrong. She wouldn't even be famous if she wasn't rich already.

I agree with almost everything you said there, modern music is so...not really music at all, and most of the teens my age, are, horrible, I hope they mature up soon, summer is worse here, but IMO it isnt bad.
