Disclaimer: Nothing I'm about to say is meant to offend. I think everyone here is cool and differing opinions can be a breath of fresh air. Rock on, ponies.

 

A Canterlot Wedding is my least favorite episode.

Sports are fun to play, but not to watch.

The concept of femininity and masculinity is silly to me.

Raw tomatoes are delicious!

Not really a fan of most Mario or Sonic games.

I don't like the idea of marriage, and weddings tend to make me uncomfortable. However, this isn't why I disliked A Canterlot Wedding.

 

May add more in the future.

I immediately disregard the opinion of anyone who uses the term "haters" in a non ironic satirical fashion. Hate can be justified, and to just brush away other opinions because "tehy be hatin yo 420 yoloswag gotta hit up teh club" just comes off as relying on base hedonistic instincts and a having a general lack of any interesting personal traits.

Opinions based on hate are worthless, hate is by definition blind. It's an emotion for the mentally weak, they hide behind it because they dont want to bother/ are not smart enough to try to understand the thing they hate.

 

Hate has always hurt and hampered the human race. If the emotion that caused so much grief in the history of humanity is the thing that makes one interesting, id rather be a boring person.

She knows why she hates, and I doubt you would call her mentally weak for hating the man that raped her. One can understand and still hate, and those who think any emotion can never be used properly just lacks real world experience.

So first you talk about haters and "tehy be hatin yo 420 yoloswag gotta hit up teh club" and then you instantly pull out the Rapehammer?  You were talking about opinions based on hate, i dont see how any of this has to do with rape. When was the term "hater" ever used if not in the context of for example shows, or musicans. You were talking about the usual hater, like the MLP haters, or character haters, who are mentally weak because they need to get a rise out of the fact that they ruin things others enjoy.

 

Just feels like you are out of arguments and try to silence me with "If you say things like that you support rapists!". Just seems like you try to justify your own hate, for whatever it may be.

 

And yes, hate is blind. It corrupts your thoughts and you can never judge fairly about the things you hate. Would you let that rapevictim you brought into that discussion be the judge about the punishment the rapist would get? No way this would ever happen. Why would it not happen? Because that person would be biased and cannot judge fairly.

 

And give me an example of how to use hate properly please...

I don't know if this is unpopular or not but I know that it would be to certain people...

 

Forgiveness requires trust. As an example, if you've hurt or harmed people by way of deception and manipulation, you've made a very good point for people not to trust you and you should therefor not expect any self-respecting person with common sense to forgive you for it.

That some hate could be justified with valid reasoning, instead of being blind. Sometimes, haters really are just assholes. Sometimes they're not.

 

Personal example: I hate the Westboro Baptist Church. I hate everything that they stand for. That isn't because I blindly hate churches or something, its because Westboro supports so much injustice and actively try to put people down.

The kind mentioned was clearly made out to be haters of things like cartoon characters or the like, not things like Westboro Baptist church.

You are allowed to hate what you want.

 

But if you have that one thing you hate, and dont know why, does that not make it blind hate? And blind hate is what makes a hater a hater, senseless, blind hate, people that hate on things they dont understand, and dont want to understand. Something miaq claims is completely justiciable.

 

You can hate blindly and senselessly what you want, but i will think less of you for doing it.

- People showing public displays of affection is gross. That stuff needs to be kept to the bar or the house. Not the park.

- I like playing some sports, but I don't see the appeal in watching them.

- Yu-Gi-Oh is horrible (But let's admit it, we all had a Yu-Gi-Oh, DBZ, or Pokémon phase at one point in our lives), except, of course, the abridged version. Abridged Yu-Gi-Oh is comedy gold.

- Love triangles in movies and books are pointless, predictable, and cliché as hell.

- The word overrated is... overrated. BADUM-TSHHHH.

- But seriously, I don't like the word overrated, so I just say it in a different way. Such as 'more popular than it's worth'.

- On that topic, I believe gardening is more popular than it's worth. What's the point?

- I don't enjoy cooking.

- Some people deserve death.

- New York has more things than NYC, people.

- Nevada has interesting things that isn't Las Vegas.

- I like the east better than the west.

- PewDiePie is an incredibly average and unfunny LP-er. I'd prefer PBG or Game Grumps or Jontron over PDP any day.

- Inception wasn't that complex.

- War and Peace also wasn't that complex, I recently finished it, and despite it going from a war scene to a party scene in ten seconds flat, if you followed the speech and the characters and the descriptions you should be able to get a firm grip on the plot in a short time.

- The Spyro trilogy (A New Beginning, The Eternal Night, Dawn of the Dragons) are the best games in the series and WAY better than the originals

I've read the comics a bit too and I didn't like them. Is that fair? I respect DC for creating iconic superheroes and one or two good comic arcs, but most of it I don't like.

Ah, I apologize. While I do like Avengers/Marvel MUCH better than DC, I do respect DC and acknowledge all of their accomplishments. I just simply prefer Marvel and don't like DC all that much.
