If there's one thing Tumblr has taught me, it's that horseshoe theory is real and that it's hard to tell someone that's fringe-left from someone that's fringe-right unless they drop certain key phrases or viewpoints(and both those things over-lap in more ways that either would ever admit to).

I've also learned that pretty much every social movement is full of nutjobs and it's easier to just be a decent human being than to claim labels like feminist and worry about sorting out the internal problems of such groups on top of everything else.

A

and then of course there's the whole anti-brony thing - I fully admit that this may just be me being oversensitive, but I hate how it seems the only "acceptable" way to be an MLP fan on Tumblr is to constantly talk about how you're not a brony because bronies are The Worst (and anyone who does call themselves a brony is a terrible person and "stealing" MLP from little girls), etc. I know that the pony fandom is far from perfect and there are problems and unpleasant individuals within the community, but every fandom has those people. Some days it feels like it's hard to find a place where I can just enjoy the show (that I love in part because of its strong feminist messages) without either Tumblr "social justice"/anti-brony sentiment (and I do mean in the "ALL BRONIES ARE SCUM" rather than just "don't like/care about FiM or the fandom" sense) or guys people saying feminism is stupid because men and women are obviously totally equal now. It's hard out here for a bitch feminist pony fan who hates Tumblr, you guys :(

Feminism is a example of a good thing that was ruined by extremists becoming one of the most vocal sections of the movement, it's really kind of sad. If I was this age about five years ago or more before that started happening I'd probably be one(or at least a ally)

I'm actually starting to appreciate what Obama has been doing. I support his immigration reform, and minimum wage has gone up while he's been in office, so I am a happy panda.

I agree with antitheism for the most part but I feel that some or a lot of them take it too far. I am talking about those antitheists who automatically classify the religious as "idiots" and "extremely immoral" and believe that religion ought to be illegal. Like I said, I'm an antitheist but these sorts of people take it too far.

Yes, I find religion to be more harmful than good. Yes, I don't think there's any real proof of a god. Yes, I think the world would be better if religion suddenly disappeared and would never come back, or never existed. (I wouldn't want religion to be illegal and the religious persecuted though.) And no, I don't hate all religious people.

I never tastet Skittles... I mean I don't see any difference to M&Ms or Smarties so why would I? ^^

Wuh? Smarties are filled with chocolate. Plain M&Ms are just a copy of Smarties. (Though peanut M&Ms are obviously quite different from Smarties.) Skittles are completely different though - they're chewy, and they contain no chocolate.

People who say (American) Football is "only a few minutes of actual play, while the rest is spent killing time, standing around, and playing commercials" are misunderstanding the sport. They also generally compare it to soccer or basketball.

Soccer, for example, is a finesse sport, while Football is a high octane sport. Meaning, football requires full acceleration and strength on every single play, done so in short bursts. You're performing at full speed at all times. In soccer, a great deal of lengthy physical endurance is required to win, so players aren't always at full speed and instead run or perform slower to conserve energy for later use. Also, there is plenty of strategy going on between the teams between each down, so it's not like it's just dead time.

There are a lot of bronies that misinterpret "the magic of friendship" (or love and tolerance or whatever you want to call it) to meaning to become dependent on your friends for everything. Keep in mind that the ponies learn from their own experiences as opposed to being the result of them having turned to friends for all the answers.

I dislike pancakes.

Fluttershy is an overrated pony.

The Sega Genesis had some of the best games of all time.

White Milk > Chocolate Milk.

-The Hobbit movies are bad.

The second one was unforgivable.

Oh really? I thought they look the same so they contain the same.

Seems like I will have to taste the Rainbow. :)

Lucifer from the Shin Megami Tensei series is actually a pretty intelligent fellow who only wants freedom for us all. Let's just say that if I play a game from the series again, I'm going Chaos path :)
