Is Big Macintosh Best Pony?

Hello everpony! (everyone.) I dont want to sound like a know-it-all, but Ive always thought that Big Mac was the best pony, and my personal favorite. He is simple without being dumb, he is good without being pious, and he always says either eeyup or eenope as a sign of him being brief and only saying what needs to be said. He dosent seem very likely to ramble. I like him because I can relate to him, and he seems to accept everything around him. He seems kind of bored and distant, but he can always get hius job done. You can always trust big macintosh! If he had an element (which i sometimes wish he had.) I wish he had acceptance. He seems to accept evrything that happenes to him, like when cheerilee is in lub with him and when he is injured. He dosenot seem to have a problem with anything. My close second favorite pony is fluttershy however, and she seems to be a lot like him. they have so much in common and I think they would be perfect for each other. Like rainbow dash and sonic! Or perhaps spike and rarity. or soarin and spitfire. all in all, if you analyze BM's character, you can see he actually has a personality. as do most of the characters in the show. Its ALL part of how we see characters as being 'real'. Also, I like him because I can relate. I like FLutterhsy because i can relate, and I dislike rd because I cant relate.

In dragonshy, when fluttershy scolded the dragon, I just thought to myself, FUCK YEAH! I wish Big Macintosh had his own episode. I also wish Fluttershy developed a crush on him in the show. If in season 3, fluttershy felll in love with Bgi Macintsoh, I would cum myself.

Big mac does seem like the most reliable character in the show. He's interested in getting the job done and protecting those he loves. If he was more of a central character, I think more people would agree with you. He's one of my favorite male ponies though!

But he doesn't get anywhere near enought character development to be anywhere near other characters of the show for me to even consider liking him to that existent.

 

For me Pinkie Pie is the best pony FOREVER!!!

I really like Big Macintosh as well. I loved his role in 'Hearts and Hooves Day', and his "eyup"s and "nope"s are already enough to be one of my favorite characters :>

 

Not to mention his - and the whole Apple Family's - accent, the apple bucking, and the whole story behind them.

 

I wouldn't say that he's the BEST pony though, but I do think he's pretty reliable and funny as in the show, and he could be a very much more appreciated character. I really wish to see more episodes centering him during S3.

He occasionally appears aloof or distant in some ways. This is an unfortunate byproduct of the fact that it seems he acts as a father figure to Applejack and Apple Bloom (since their parents haven't been shown).

But despite that, his simple amiable nature means that a clear quiet paradigm of thought probably looks over even the most hectic situation to see the end, and as a result is silently happy almost all the time. The question then is why he doesn't like to socialize very much. Apple Bloom was right in saying he's shy, and I bet that could be expanded a lot. Still leads to a fun imagining:
