As has been said, shit HAS gotten real. Finally, I get to do SOMETHING without Skyman! I've been waiting so long. So dangit, somebody make up something!

Yeah, anypony in the area needs to start trying to get Ice and Artsy calmed down like pronto. It's gotten to the point where Ice is going to lose control of her magic, and if that happens, everypony is in danger.

I agree with this! I'm sitting over here with a bucket of popcorn and some animal crackers. I have all the snacks… Now where's the show? Come on… I can't post, because Numbers is still watching while being vaguely amused by the entire proceeding. As a matter fact, I won't be able to post until this conflict reaches an extremely high point or an extremely low point… So come on… Let's keep things rolling!

She is normally. In fact she's very nice. She really, really hates ponies that are rude or sound rude, and as said, she only cause a small bit of the conversation beforehand and she interpreted it as extremely rude and the "rudeness" set her off. and once she's set off, well... that happens.

I really should get to sleep in a few minutes, though. So if this results to blows, you might have to wait awhile for my character to throw a punch/dodge a spell.

Now if a vast majority of ponies like ponycicles that by all means, let the chaos ensue, because she goes completely blind when she loses control of her magic and all of her other senses are extremely hindered as well. It's not OP though because if she loses control of her magic, and nothing is done about it, it will kill her by turning her into solid ice. I'd um... rather that not happen.

Also, I should point out that the reason Serah is standing by Ice Storm on this one, as opposed to just trying to set both of them on fire, is because Ice Storm at least proved herself somewhat useful in combat earlier. Even though Serah dislikes being around others, she can at least realize that the group needs to cooperate. Right now, she sees Artsy as a weak link that might leave them all hurtling into the abyss. If Artsy can't be corralled, she can at least be disposed of, so the chain can be reforged before it's next test.

Artsy goes completely crazy! That was quite fun to post. I would've liked to have had a fight with Serah, but honestly, this is closer to her personality. I'm not sure what I'm going to do after this since she's essentially separated herself from the group, but people can feel free to follow her or something OTHER than Skyman because I don't want to have to rely on his posts. @_@

 

Oh and yeah, we have an angry reaction whilst allowing Ice Storm to cool off instead of causing danger to the other ponies! I think that was satisfactory, non?

 

(Also, @@Wolfe, if you're here... this might be a good opportunity to introduce your character. Maybe have him appear where Artsy is and try to calm her down or something?)

 

Oh and uh, by the way: it says quite clearly in Artsy's personality that she's rather emotionally unstable and somewhat volatile, moody, and has immense anger. The reaction's overblown for sure, but it's totally within her character. She's definitely more than just some shy pony who keeps her nose away from everything. Mostly, she's nice. She just... has moments where she can't handle her feelings anymore.

There's nothing quite like dramatic tension to provide a catalyst for action. High drama makes good theater, and just plain good entertainment regardless. I'm happy that this incident is over though, but only because I ran out of snacks.

 

Really,I quite like the way that things turned out here, though I regret that the meeting of Numbers and Artsy will have to be delayed.

Yay, posted again! Glad to see Serah's fears about Artsy and her uncontrollable magic weren't unfounded. Klopp didn't give me a chance to defend Serah's actions, but then again, I doubt she'd care what "a pony who needs to wear a fedora to feel like a man" thinks about her.

 

It seems the group might start splitting off into two now, with some going off to follow Artsy and her "supporters". Will be interesting to see how things progress from here.

Those two words describe my exact reaction when I woke up this morning after going to sleep at 9:30 PM... It was calm and quiet before I fell asleep, but when I woke up... Temper flare-ups and arguments and mayhem, oh my!!! X_X Geez... Just so... GAH X_X It MIGHT take me a while to come up with a post for now...

Serah... considering killing Artsy because she can't control her magic? That's intense.

 

Just want to say something about the beast and Artsy's first blast of magic: it's only partially tangible. The blast was an unfocused form of her illusions that she creates from her imaginations and didn't know how to channel. Her rage caused her to be able to make it into a blobby and more monstrous shape. The two bursts, based on intense emotion, were able to affect the environment (and apparently Klopp and Jack by making them feel woozy) by rustling leaves, things like that. Semi-solid. But not completely.

 

So in actuality, the beast and the blast wouldn't have hurt any of the ponies. Since they can't affect living things yet.

 

Just wanted to point that out.

 

For the most part, when she will learn to control herself and use her magic normally instead of in bursts of rage, she will only be able to create intangible mental illusions. Conjurations, which is what I call the more solid ones, are rarer. But she could only create semi-solid things for now.

 

Hope that makes sense. I don't want everyone thinking I'm OP. D:
