ooc Shifted: The Remake (OOC)

Leading up to a ship is great, but there's only so much you can do with the story when everyone's rolling around in the grass...

There are other ways of expressing your affection other then that though. There can still be multiple ships going on in the story but they all don't have to be in-your-face like a certain someone's. Not that that's a bad thing though.

On that note there's no way I see my character going that far. Hasn't anyone heard of subtlety?

 

But for what it's worth, I'm actually glad this RP as a whole hasn't turned into a soap opera. I've actually seen RPs do that: they start out great with lots of action and plot development... but then they slowly degenerate into an entirely different kind of plot, if you get my meaning. http://mlpforums.com/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.png

I think were just lucky to have the right mix of characters. For example, not all plan on shipping and the ones who do won't do it all the same way. Variety is the important element that keeps the story interesting. Edited September 8, 2012 by Dave247

Well what if she doesn't get a opportunity to tell anyone that just yet for some reason? It's just an idea and a pretty lose one at that and would require more work to build upon it for it to work but it's still possible.

Carrot Top didn't plan on that. She's under the belief that ALL the ponies are former humans. But there should be something to prevent Aurora from telling them, otherwise, it falls flat. ._.

I think this works out quite well actually, because Ice Storm is at the back of the group with Numbers. It is conceivable that the others could have walked in the library while Ice and Numbers are distracted by Carrot Top outside. So, Arylett has not been foiled quite as of yet. (Unless there is something that I am missing due to my current tiredness.)

 

Either way, I'll wait for @Ice Storm before I write my next post. Numbers is tired, hungry, and about to become remarkably grumpy so this could possibly be a very interesting conversation indeed. Probably won't be too much food for the poor widdle bug though.

Just one question before I post my bit: Does Ponyville know of the existence of the Changelings and Queen Chrysalis? I'm not asking if they know that they are under their control or not (except for the two Princesses, which was stated in Artsy's post awhile back in the beginning.), I'm just asking if they know that they exist somewhere in Equestria. Somepony, please answer ASAP, preferably Arylett.

No. This is the first contact that the ponies have with Changelings. They wouldn't recognize them. Most of Ponyville has been taken over by Changelings anyway though, so it's a moot point. You'd say: "Well, wouldn't they have heard about what happened to Canterlot?" We'll find out why they have no idea later.

 

Haven't caught up yet, and I'll have to later... I've not been feeling well. I'll need a bit of recovery time.

Fixed. After trying and failing miserably to get down to the bottom of the disappearing smilies several times over the last week, 3 hours of concentrated digging and tweaking during this evening seems to have fixed the issue. Let me know if you have any more problems with this.
