Worst Pony? (Most Evil)

Snips and Snails are definitely the worst ponies in the show, but I'd have to give it to Chrysalis as most evil.

Diamond Tiara. She is the kind of pony who would do a background deal with discord for profit. And one day I she her getting way over her head with unsavory and powerful "allies" who use her for their own goals.

Mane Six: Rarity. (Yes, I'm saying my favorite character is worst pony of the mane six) She became evil in the comics, she destroyed Ponyville in the show. I think she had the most evil moments of the mane six.

 

Secondary characters: Snips and Snails. I love them, but they are pretty evil. Of course they don't try to be evil. They just want to show that they can do something. They are brave enough to go to the cave of the Ursa Minor, so I'll give them that. However, they woke it up. Another time, they became demons. (Well, their human counterparts did)

 

Background Ponies: Derpy. Don't let her fool you with that obsession with muffins and her derped eyes. She may drop pianos and other heavy objects on you when you least expect it. 

 

Villians: Nightmare Moon. Sure Tirek made all the ponies weak and not able to use magic or fly, but Nightmare Moon could have wiped out all life in Equestria. You do realize you need sunlight to grow food, right? 

 

 

The overall most evil pony? Nightmare Moon, but she's supposed to be evil.

I don't know if that happens exactly. More likely they see her character the way that some see Severus Snape, or any other morally ambiguous fictional figure.

Now I can confidently say that both Sombra, Chrysalis, and Tirek were designed to with the authorial intent to be considered the most evil. The interesting twist is that both Chysalis and Sombra have had fannon backstories that have approached the character with a sympathetic motivation or origin. I normally allow myself access to a mental parachute when evaluating authorial intent since what the creator intends isn't always the truth taken by the audience, but in this case I posit that Tirek wins.

Sombra just used fear to enslave ponies.

 

Nightmare is the most evil. She could have killed the Mane Six in the show. She didn't because of plot, though. Best pony and best princess were possessed by the Nightmare. Nightmare Rarity actually harmed Princess Luna. 

 

Now are any of the Mane Six more evil than villains? Not naturally.

Yeah, I've know people like her in RL that treat everyone like first because they are ^Daddy's Girl^.

True. But I would like to know what people expect out of DT. She is just a filly so she isn't going to be in charge of her own company yet and hasn't gone into any sort of higher education if such things exist in Equestria. She is meant to fulfill those roles associated with a bully and if fleshed out far enough, the role of her cutie mark would become clear in my reasoning. She is meant to be tough and strict, a boss with an iron hoof. Of course she simply works out as a bully as a foal. I don't see her as evil.

 

I still see Trixie as evil....maybe as a major villain like Sombra but Sombra would beat her in the evil department. Not counting Sombra, I would say that Trixie was the worst as she did so many crimes against ponies.

I didn't call them evil! I just said "most evil" of them. Most evil could mean did the most things that was not good, not that they ARE evil. Please stop being mad at me.

Possession doesn't count since when something is possessed it essentially means they aren't themselves, so I don't think Nightmare Moon or Nightmare Rarity should be held against Luna or Rarity for that matter, simply because of the definition of the word "possessed" when used in the context regarding the way they became their evil alter egos, and with NMR, the comics are an *unofficial* canon, so some don't even consider that to tie-in with the show's canon (like myself) nullifying it from any argument that has to do with the show's canon and this thread. 

 

Ergo, NMM or NMR shouldn't qualify due to the fact it wasn't the pony acting on their own will. The nightmare forces as a whole,  maybe, but the targets of their possession shant be held against them.

 

 

Furthermore, Tirek also could've killed the ponies He drained all of the life out of them, essentially, and could've just crushed them then and there if he felt like it, and he likely would've executed Twilight during that fight had she not had the strength of four alicorn princesses. Sombra likely could've killed them as well and would've if needed, but ultimately they weren't his endgame.

 

 

As for me, I'd give Tirek the most evil pony/thing. He denied going to the good side with his brother, sucked the life out of Equestria and nearly destroyed it, almost killed every pony, manipulated a master manipulator into turning against the greater good and become his partner, betrayed his partner and stole his magic when he ran out of use, etc.

Based on impact, Sombra easy. He's done worse things then the others have, and had an entire kingdom pissing their pants about him for nearly 1000 years.

 

As for a different scale that impacts the frequent cast, Diamond Tiara.

Keep in mind that discussion =/= getting mad at People don't always agree with you say and discussion is the bas4 of a forum.

 

It's closer to a debate than anything. I doubt anyone's mad since you didn't really just say anything flamey, just made a post people disagreed with, but all I can really speak for is myself
