Yes, I can't post the images right now since I am on my iPhone, but they are mind blowing! Keep in mind they are rumored/leaked and could be fakes until confirmed by the Hub, the studio, or Hasbro. Anyway, the images include a landscape of the Crystal City, two shots of a rundown abandoned Carousel Boutique, a shot of a dead Sweet Apple Acres, and a turn around series of images, of none other than The Great and Powerful Trixie! Wearing some weird necklace too! I don't know but this looks seriously intense and awesome for a little girls show, and can't wait to see if these are legitimate and what they have in store for season 3. So, what do you guys/girls think? Check them out on EqD for yourself!

The images look legit. All those images look like they can be from an episode. Carousel Boutique and Sweet Apple Acres being empty would make an interesting episode. This just makes me want S3 to come as soon as possible.

It feels like I'm going to be almost spot-on with my prediction of Trixie causing some sort of major trouble to everypony, so much that it outright makes Ponyville a barren wasteland, causing Rarity to shut down her business and destroy the trees in Sweet Apple Acres. With the way the pictures are presented to us, I really think we'll have a storyline format this season, which is very good for character development and the drama part of the series will be expanded upon, at last.

 

I can't fucking wait for all this to air.

Looks interesting. If true, I'm surprised Hasbro is continuing to allow more dramatic things like this apparent mass-devastation, that the main characters are obviously going to have intense emotions about. They seem to be catering to please the bronies and not so much the little girls audience more and more.

 

And eh, I will never like Trixie, I'd rather have Discord come back. But if any of this is due to her, then I'm glad to see that she will *hopefully* no longer be a weakling who can do nothing but some rope and thundercloud tricks. Though, a new necklace could be the whole 'magical item that makes you have crazy supernatural powers' trope, which would hint towards her cheating to get powerful, and not having worked at it.

 

At any rate it's certainly interesting.

I'm not too sure about that. How can Trixie herself make Ponyville completely barron? Well, I'm just judging based on the last time I saw her. Does it possibly have to do with the necklance to make her more powerful or something?

Look at what I found on the EqD leak. Holy shit is it ever exciting to think about what could happen this time around, now that Studio B is being more aggressive with their stories and really taking it to the fanbase.

 

 

 

 

Good lord, what the hell IS that necklace? Looking at it, I can't imagine it to be anything good. In fact, the way that it's built leads me to believe that Trixie will unleash some sort of evil and havoc all across Equestria. Perhaps she'll even be revealed as an element of disharmony - maybe Twilight's counterpart.

I have actually heard rumors that Discord, or another villain might posibly either create an antithesis to the EoH, or discover them. I didn't want to say anything at the time, because I wanted to wait for something closer to official to show up first.

 

If that's the case, Season 3 might end up being an entire story arc in and of itself. And if that's the case, it would explain why the season is only supposed to have 13 episodes (ongoing story arcs take longer to write than stand-alone half hour episodes).

 

Of course, I'm still keeping it in the back of my head that the picture could end up being a hoax, like the 11-minute shorts hoax we had. So I'll wait a bit to make sure.

 

Either way, it'll be interesting if Trixie is indeed going to be in Season 3 (even if only for an episode).

I have a good feeling that Trixie and Discord will somehow end up working together to create a hell of an adversary to match up against the Mane 6. The mere fact that Trixie looks like she can really spread "disharmony" around wherever she goes, as demonstrated by her bad attitude to others, leads me to believe that Discord will be once again released from his stone imprisonment. That being said, this season might just touch up more "serious" issues such as friendship and war, bigger conflicts even than the one seen in Canterlot with the Changelings, and the struggle to make things right once again - the last part will undoubtedly create tension among the mane 6 as their friendship is put to the test, but this time they themselves create the tension (with a little bit of help from the situation) instead of some third party manipulating each of them and making them turn on each other. Say, when you think about that... it is quite easy to just snap out of whatever spell Discord put on you, provided someone's willing to try to help you out. When you yourself make matters worse, however, it becomes very difficult to make things right. I suspect we will see a lot of drama along with more fighting - kind of like a Disney movie.

It's funny, I had always had a head canon concept already in which Discord creates six separate Elements of Disharmony to counter the Mane 6, as a supervisor edit to his attempts of turning them, themselves into them in Return of Harmony. They'd be more deadly being separate entities in which Discord would be able to support himself using his vast magic. Though I never thought to think that Trixie herself could be one. Maybe he could make the other five from thin air, and Trixie can lead them as Twilight's opposite.

I commend you for your imagination; it wouldn't be a total reach to start thinking of other dimensions. Maybe Trixie will toss the Mane 6 into another dimension or timeline and they'll have to get out? Of course, the Crystal Ponies will have to play some sort of big role in the season if it is going to be a storyline format.

 

Funny, I can also imagine Cadence and Shining Armor being locked away in that case. What we HAVE to see as well, from this season, is Luna. For far too long she's been ignored and has never really played a big role, not even when Canterlot was being invaded by the sapient equivalent of parasites.

Well, if any of these theories are even slightly true, then my excitement has certainly increased. Discord and Trixie working together to cause havoc, that would definitely be awesome. Of course if none of this is true, it'll be fine. But, ya know, without the cool idea of Trixie wielding some sort of Element of Disharmony.

Trixie would confront them with the necklace she found (or however she acquired it. at this point, there's not much to go on how she got it in the first place) and manages to convince them to defect or something like that. Then they seek out to wreak havoc of the sort.

Hm...this is the possible Crystal Empire, eh? Hm...the design seems legit, but there are some details to this that I find incomplete, in contrast to the show's art style. Then again, this could just be colored concept art, which would be minimalistic in the first place. In any case, this would be a perfect design. Strangely, there doesn't seem to be any connection with the area of Equestria that we know. But, like everything else, it'll all fall into place when the new season starts.

Alright, let me be the first to say....WTF happened?! What...a deserted Equestria? Holy bucking guacamole!!! This changes everything! I'm dying to know what bizarro tragedy took place here! This is the stuff of nightmares, man! And...Sweet Apple Acres and Carousel Boutique.....possible condemned? Pretty interesting...not good, but interesting.

...well, that necklace can't be any good...for Ponyville, at least. I mean, it's good and all to see her make an appearance since her mysterious absence over two years, but what the heck? Not much to say about it, though. At best, I'm assuming she teams up with another evil force (the next great antagonist) and get revenge on all the people who heckled her away to who knows where she's been all this time.

 

 

The only thing I can tell for sure is that this season is going to be epic.

I still like the idea of Trixie having gotten a bit more powerful, having wanted to come back and demonstrate to Twilight that she is better than her after all.

 

C.D's HEAD CANON:

On her way, she sneaks her way up into the Canterlot Gardens, and, using her improved magic and perhaps an ancient magic from her necklace, releases Discord. The spirit looks at Trixie and is reminded of Twilight, when she was confronting him with her discorded pony friends, while she was angry, and decides to 'team up' with her. He does what he does best and whispers sweet nothings into her ear about how she can rule as 'The Great and Powerful Trixie' over all of Equestria, and that all she has to do is work with him. He creates the separate, physical manifestations of Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity and Rainbow Dash, with Trixie leading them as 'The NEW Elements of Disharmony'. As separate entities now, Discord pours his magic into all six of them, making them exponentially more powerful.

 

Interpret the Crystal Kingdom into this how you will, but that's certainly something I'd like to see. I could totally see the dynamic of goofy Discord and arrogant Trixie being a funny teamwork pattern to watch.

Going off the concept of the "dimensions," maybe Trixie changed the look of ponyville and such the same way discord changed the look of ponyville, except she uses a form of disharmony rather than chaos. That's my two cents of the subject, just an idea.

With the way things are looking, season three looks like it's a lock to be in a storyline format, as I've said before. This won't be like the one-shot adventure episodes like we saw in seasons 1 and 2, save for the two-parters on each of them, as you need a LOTS of depth when you're writing a storyline season. Typically many concepts and hints of character development show up in these sorts of scenarios.
