What was your reaction to the baby pony design?

It's not the size of the eyes, it's the fact that they don't have whites, irises and pupils like the other ponies, the baby eyes are almost featureless, except for their glossy look. They just look cold, empty and dead like the eyes of a shark, it's really uncanny.

Well they don't have the white in their eyes like the other ponies of the show do, but they do have irises and pupils. I do agree that the first baby pony we saw did not have a lot of emotion in his/her eyes, but that one was in the episode for only a minute. Pound Cake and Pumpkin Cake were able to show all kinds of emotions and features with their eyes. If anything they show better emotion in their eyes than the other characters in the show. It was easy to tell when they were happy, sad, confused, you could even see gilt in their eyes. So I don't see this shark eye you say they have. The eyes are the best part.
