"Uh, I, uh... Alright Starbolt, I'll teach you what I know. Or try, anyway. So, what would you do if you were attacked by a Timberwolf again?" he asks her, sitting down. This could take a very long while, but if it keeps her safe... It'll be worth it. There's now way I'm letting my one friend die of negligence.

"I would go straight to casting a fire spell on the ground in front of me. Then if I still have enough magical power I would cast a fireball at it." She replied to his question.

"Not right now you wouldn't, you'd try and pass out again. But what if you stood in front of the fire, and the thing lunged at you. You dodge, and it would land in the fire," he says, rolling his eyes and grinning. "What food is safe?"

"I usually have Fae check for me. But I know this one is poisonous." She said as she pulled out the poisonous berry from earlier.

"Sorry, I know I'm really bad at this kind of thing." She said to Scout.

"I've lived in a forest for as long as I can remember. You see those bushes over there? Those are safe. You can tell because a few of the berries are missing, and the branches have been chewed off. Also because eyou don't see a dead animal anywhere around here."

Starbolt took note of what he said. Missing berries, disturbed leaves and no dead animal means that the berries are edible. "Okay, anything else?" She asked Scout smiling, Starbolt finally appreciated his skill at forest survival.

Fire Opal waited until Scout would finish teaching Starbolt everything he knew. Once he had heard that she could cast a fire spell in front of her once she had enough magic, he thought it would be good to explain to her different types of fire spells and how to use less energy to perform them.

Ronald continued to charge strait at the line of guards. He prepared to slam shoulder first into the guard closest to the castle. "Out a my way!" He cried, "I ain't stopping!"

Harold and Jack made their way through the castle until they arrived to a long stretch of hallway that ended at Celestia's private quarters. The entrance was a set of white double doors with golden trim. Inside was their best chance at finding a way to lift the barrier and end the Exile.

Octavinyl woke up inside the shelter and rubbed her eyes. She was still upset about her broken wing but she just stopped crying. As she was still laying there on the ground she thought about how she could help the group's chances of survival. I can't even be on lookout for them, what can I do at all?... She thought to herself as went to the shelter's window. You can't do anything to help at all! You're just stupid and foolish to yourself and the others! Octavinyl kept thinking of insults against herself for her guilty feeling. She was still feeling numb and lightheaded. As she looked outside she just decided to give up and just rest. She closed her eyes and yawned, still feeling tired she tried to go back to sleep.

"Yah, if you eat something poisonous, you gotta make yourself throw up. No way around it if you don't wanna die. Also, I would suggest learning some style of combat from one of our dignified group members," he said rolling his eyes, "Or the Luchador. You probably won't be as strong as them, but it can't hurt to pick up an actual style of combat. If none of them will teach you..." he sighs, "Then I'll see what I can do to help you out."

Trench was close enough to hear Scout's proposition to Starbolt. It's too bad my squad isn't here, Trench thought tho himself, They would make her a fighter in no time. If I weren't out of beer, Ronald could teach her to fight drunk. He found that last thought very funny and chuckled to himself.

 

He considered offering to teach her himself, but quickly decided against it. If I teach her the way I trained my squad I'll kill her, and that would defeat the point.

Fire Opal then trotted up to Scout and Starbolt. "I could perhaps tell Starbolt some different spells she could use once we get out of this place," he said confidently, hoping to convince the others that they could get out of the dome.

Scout nods, "Purhaps, but I'd rather she learned how to defend herself without magic for the time being. Because, while in the dome, her magic just isn't strong enough, even if she was one of the strongest outside of it," he adds. He absently rubs a bur dark on his flank.

"I'm not very good at close combat, so I'll leave now unless you need any help," Fire Opal said as he nodded. He headed back to the shelter where his saddlebag lay, which held all of his prized possessions, such as his precious book of fire spells, which he now took out and studied spells he still had yet to master.

Trench reconsidered his stance on training Starbolt. He hadn't done much to help up until then. "I could teach her," Trench finally offered, "But I'd have to do it my way, and my way can be painful. And I won't do much talking."

"You mean you're gunna kick the skills into her literally?" Scout asked. If that's what it takes... I was kinda hoping maybe she could learn som disciplined fighting style, where she had to work hard, but where she wouldn't really get hurt.

"That's my offer," Trench replied, "I don't expect her to take it. You see there's just no other way I can think of for a pony to learn to fight quick enough. Any other way would take years, and I ain't a martial arts teacher."

"So wait how will that work?" Starbolt asked Trench unsure whether or not to accept his offer. "What do you think Scout?" She asked her friend.

Fae finished gathering more berries and put them next to the fire in a bowl.

Trench was surprised that she was even considering his offer. "The way it works is simple. I like to keep it that way. You and I will go one to one and I'll tell you everything you do wrong until you fix it."

"What happened? Did those Timberwolves get him?" she asked Relampago as she continued "Maybe I should be going now to finish off my treehouse.." she said as she waited for Relampago to reply her before she leaves.

Starbolt wasn't sure if this was a good idea. "Uhh.... I'll ummm... ask around first maybe there is a specific stlye I'm good at." She told Trench not wanting to offend him. 'I don't think I'll get anywhere with his method.' She thought to herself.

Trench had almost surely driven her away, not that that wasn't his intentions to begin with. "Less work for me," He said, "Just remember that their's nothing words can teach you that a fight can't, and my offer still stands."

"If I can't find anypony else I'll take your offer." Starbolt replied to Trench. She went and looked for somepony who could teach her to defend herself with out magic.

Scout went up to Trench, "You know how to fight, and teach it? I know how to fight, but not how to teach," he sighs, "Is teaching hard? Everything I learned was from the forest. Oh, what if she wants me to teach her after all, and I can't do it right?" he says nervously under his breath.

Relámpago got up from his slumber, he gave a big yawn as various ponies were talking about training Mal, the unicorn who saved Octavinyl's life. He than heard of Daeva he wonder what happened to Octavinyl, "It wasn't timerwolves, she wanted to take a watch up on the tree and a branch broke under her." He turned to Starbolt(Herp derp, just woke up), "You know, I may not have the most conventional way of fighting, but I do know the art of wrestling. Taking your opponent down and using various types of move to keep them down. Just an option if you want it."

"Damn it!" The guard held the tackle, he wasn't backing down right now. He bit his lip as the force was overwhelming. "You ain't going past here!" The guard growl at Ronald. They'll be here any second.

 

Who knows what the two heroes will find inside the door. There were no guards outside the private quarters, but it is unknown if anypony is inside. It could be a whole army, or Celestia herself. Maybe both, the door felt overwhelming to anypony.
