Favorite Ponies and Relationships

My favorite ponies/fillies are Fluttershy and Sweetie Belle. I realized that I am a lot like Fluttershy in that I am very shy, and that a combination of their personalities is exactly what I want in a significant other, and I was curious if that was just me. What do you guys think? And if this isn't true, what relation does your favorite pony have to you? Is it like your friends, what you want in a friend, is it like you? Just wanted some other opinions.

My favorite pony is Twilight, my second is Sweetie Belle. Me personally, I'm like a combination of Twilight and Rainbow Dash (which have very different personalities,I know). I like Twilight because she's funny, cute, and she reminds me of an old friend of mine. Sweetie Belle is just adorable and funny, I just like her personality. If I ever had a daughter, I'd kill her if she wasn't want her to be exactly like Sweetie Belle.

Dashie is outgoing in ways that I'm not, so I guess my relationship to her is idolism in some ways, while in others it's simply that I find her adorable and really like the tomboy aspect of her personality. My second is AJ, whom is also idolistic in the sense that she's the perfect sibling in a lot of ways, something I know I lack in with my own younger sister.

My favorite pony is Fluttershy because of how much I can relate to her personality and struggles. We are both have a crippling shyness, freeze up in stressful situations, have a timid and quiet temperament, and have a not so nice side when we are provoked.

Every time Fluttershy learns a lesson I can directly benefit from it as well, such as being assertive does not mean being cruel. All of this adds up to a special bond I share with her.

Pinkie Pie is a long time favorite but Rarity is up there too... personality wise I am probably most like Rarity, which I don't think is a good thing lol
