My favorite line would have to be "Every pony will gather round, see I look lovely in my gown." Just the way she says it, is quite funny. Yeah... :/ But still, I really like the reprise of This Day Aria, with Chrysalis singing over the chaos below her. If I did have to go with the original then, then I would choose the line 'What they didn't know is that I've fooled them all!" with the creepy glowing eyes. Being honest here, I actually always think that she actually says "I have for them all!", because, yeah, I would like her to think about what evil things she would do, instead of about her victory in the past. murkyx 904 August 20, 2012 Share August 20, 2012 (edited) Probably my favorite thing about the song is how dynamic it is, with it's range of sorrow and loss switching quickly to triumphant and eager. Some of my favorite lines: "No, I do not love the groom, in my heart there is no room! But I still want him to be ALL MINE!" The power in this moment was breathtaking, with it being the crescendo of the piece, it was a malicious triumph where it finally revealed for sure Chrysalis' true intentions, showing her eagerness and desire. "We must escape before it's too late, find a way to save the day. Hope I'll be lying when I say: I don't fear that I may loose him to one who wants to use him, not care for, love, and cherish him each day. For I also love the groom, all my thoughts he does consume. Oh, Shining Armor I'll be there very soon!" Another favorite being the climax of Cadence's half of the song, revealing how worried and afraid she is. (and especially with the visuals of her struggling with the minecart and collapsing in tears) She also admits that the only thing she wants for Shining Armor is somepony to love and care for him, and would seem as if she would gladly give him away if it meant he would be better off. (But then she becomes determined when Twilight helps her and progress is made, gaining a new found strength in saving her relationship) "Finally, the moment has arrived for me to be the lucky bride!" Again the victorious flair at this part sends chills up my spine, especially the brass highlight after "Arrived" both featuring her triumph as her plans are about to unfold, and then also combining it with the joy of the spectators of the wedding, unaware of what is going on. Thinking about it now wouldn't have Twilight been wondering what Cadence was doing? Because she would sing one line..... But then she would have had to wait for Chrysalis to sing her line.... and then continue with her next line..... So to Twilight it would have seemed like Cadence was singing a song with constant 10 second breaks throughout it . Kinda off topic I know..... I just thought it was kinda funny.... No I do not love the groom In my heart there is no room But I still want him to be all mine! These lines don't necessarily give me chills, but they come awfully close. Finally the moment has arrived For me to be one lucky bride! The manner in which Chrysalis sings these lines is incredibly sinister. It was the first villain song we had and no I don't count the Flim Flam Brothers song. If I had to chose a funny moment of the song it would be. "I won't partake in any cake" I always felt like someone was going to make a pic of Pinkie Pie bursting into the room and than start to shove cake into her mouth, not hearing the other parts. The best part of the song would have to be. I don't fear that I may lose him To one who wants to use him Not care for love and cherish him each day For I oh-so love the groom Oh my thoughts he does consume Oh Shining Armor, I'll be there very soon. (Yes all of it) I loved this part of the song. Mostly showing how hard Cadence is willing to go for Shining Armor and I love the way Twilights face looks when she is trying to push the cart. Therefore I think we all should appreciate the skill of Cadence's voice actor. She changes her style off singing And tone when singing as the Real Cadence. Then goes back to Chrysalis's voice. Altering a voice is tough in my book.so brohoof to her. So for me, I cant really choose a line. "Finally the moment has arrived" I just really like how this line is sung it sounds cool.
