What's For Breakfast yall?

I like all three of those options. I wouldn't want to eat any one of them for breakfast all of the time though, because that's just overkill. My favorite option of the three is pancakes and waffles because they involve syrup, and let's face it, sugar makes people happy. Well, I know it makes me very happy.

The best option, and the one I would want to live off of if I had to is oatmeal because it's the healthiest choice. Add a little bit of fruit to it and your favorite sugar or sweetener and it makes for a great tasting breakfast as well. smile.png

Why isn't bacon an option? sad.png

I guess I'd have to go with Oatmeal. I think it's pretty tasty and I prefer it over Waffles, pancakes, ect. That and because of a certain episode of My Little Pony, Oatmeal will forever remind me of Pinkie Pie. smile.png

I'd go with pancakes any day of the week. So fluffy and good, even better if you add butter and syrup. Finish it off with a glass of milk and your morning becomes perfect. It does in my case. :)

Had two peanut butter pop tarts I tried to make edible by sticking in the toaster and then putting jam on... Still inedible. Then I tried coffee for the 10th time, still don't like it. I've tried it near black, I've tried it the way my parents make it, and now I've tried it with about 2 pounds of cream and sugar respectively. Still don't like it. I removed both nasty flavors from my tongue by finishing off the last bowl of raisin bran crunch.

Out of those choices definitely oatmeal, it is tasty good for you and fills you up nicely. When I do make breakfast though I tend to really go all out, I will chop up some potatoes whip up some eggs, chop up a ham steak, or some leftover meat or maybe bacon. Make some pancakes or toast and top it off with some OJ. Or I might make some breakfast burritos or a Fritatta, but when I need something quick my usual standby is toast with peanut butter with some OJ.

1. eggs - i eat them basically every morning. nice and runny yolks, cause I dip my toast or biscuits in the yolk. So good :D also love scrambled ones with ketchup

2. sausage links - one of my favorite meats. I prefer links to patties. also great with eggs :3

3. bagel w/ cream cheese - i'm addicting to this. And i could eat cream cheese plain lol :P

I like to make omelettes. The most commonly made one in my house is an omelette of onions, bell peppers, guanciale (bacon made from the pig's cheek), eggs, and cheese.

If you like eggs though, give this a try:

Line a bowl with plastic wrap and lightly brush the plastic with fat. I use a mix of duck fat & EV olive oil, but whatever you have is fine.

Sprinkle with salt & pepper.

Break an egg in the center of the plastic.

Gather the rest of the plastic into a bundle with the egg in the center, leaving just a tiny bit of air inside, and tightly secure it with string or twine.

Heat a pot of water until it simmers gently and cook the egg in it for 5-6 minutes.

Make sure the egg doesn't touch the bottom of the pot. That could screw up the plastic. Take a chopstick and tie the other end of the string to it, leaving enough length so the egg comes to just about the center of the pot. The chopstick should rest level on the rim of the pot.

Remove the bundle from the simmering water and let it sit for a minute. Then, carefully cut away the plastic.

The result should be a delightfully-shaped poached egg.

  • 3 weeks later...

I usually eat pancakes. I also enjoy eating Pop-Tarts, oddly enough. They both just taste really good to me. I don't eat breakfast anymore though.
