Anyone interested in makeup or fashion?

I adore fashion.  :grin2: It kills me that I don't have the money to buy new outfits at the moment. Fashion, and shopping for fashion, is one of life's little pleasures that I miss having the disposable income to indulge in. There's just something special about flaunting a new top or pair of pants!

 

I have students compliment me on my outfits, hair and and overall style a lot; even students I've never met! Some come up out of the blue just to tell me I look great, or they love my dress... Totally makes that little bit of effort in the morning worth it.

I have some expensive habits when it comes to clothing, although there's this glorious shop in Copenhagen called "Episode" that sport vintage clothing, including polo's from Lacoste, Ralph Lauren and other brands.

I love both. Oh you can't tell, because of social norms. I'm going for fabulous later, but I'm laying low at the moment. I'm not sure if I should be all "I'm a fabulous woman. I care less," or something. Just being conservative about my true womanly self to the public. It might give them a fright.

When I was young, I locked that part of me away in a jail cell in my mind so that way I could never be what I called ''a girly girl.' I was convinced that I wanted to a cool girl (tomboy basically). Nowadays, I let it out sometimes to breathe when I'm getting dressed up to go out with a friend, but I'm still in that boat.

Usually I have never been into either of these things much, it just never seemed too important to me. However over the last couple of years I have become increasingly interested in makeup and fashion, mostly to change up my style entirely. There is so much that I want to do with that but honestly I don't even know where to begin with it all. Plus before I never had the funds to fully indulge but that may change soon. I wanna be pretty. :3
