I'm writing a fanfic and then it hit me, how about I add in other people's OCs as random encounters throughout the story.

just give me a picture of what they look like, their name, personality, where in Equestria would they most likely be and a short history. I can only add so many, so don't be upset if I can't fit yours in

My 'ponysona' OC is Night Shine, pic below. He's reserved and intelligent (and also nocturnal) but very nice if you get to know him.

 

 

Also...these OCs probably wouldn't work for what you have planned, but i'll mention them anyway because they're bucking awesome.

They are the main villains in a fanfic series I'm writing (first story: http://www.fimfictio...dowed-Nightmare. I'm almost done with it, just a couple more pages in the second chapter).

 

The Shadow is an illusionist who works with ponies' worst fears to twist their dreams into nightmares. He suffered a tragic accident as a colt that left him scarred physically and psychologically, in the form of his irrational fear and hatred of laughter.

 

Puzzle Master is the Shadow's older brother, and I really don't want to say much about him because that would spoil my story . But he isn't really the type one would want to be friends with, especially if one values their safety.

If anypony actually cares enough to read it, I did finish that fanfic with The Shadow, and I'm writing a sequel including the Elements of Disharmony

His actual name is North Light, but he mostly goes by Zhooves (his nick-name or artist-name).

He's a calm, slightly shy, quiet and sleepy-headed guy (might randomly fall asleep depending on how bad it is). Loves music, art, different types of tech and other creativity-related stuff.

 

He can usually be found high up in the skies or mountains just drifting around, or in quiet parts of Ponyville (and sometimes Canterlot), though he has a tendency of just drifting around at random... So he can be found anywhere.

 

The picture there is kind of a place-holder, and I'm working on a better one now~

That just strikes me as racist and stereotypical. Granted the rainbow mane might be just a tiny bit much, but my OC (not ponysona) is a zebra alicorn, and I have gone to extreme pains to makes sure she is not a Mary-Sue. She broke her horn in a fight, was corrupted by Discord, is reckless, and while she is older than Celestia, she is not much older and definitely isn't wiser by any stretch. Her good quality is that she is loyal. Does she seem like a Mary-Sue?

My apologies if I sound like accusing someone of racist, but RD's rainbow mane is rare and unique, only for her.

I don't want to hate, but...well...here are a few things that are generally accepted about OCs:

 

1. If you have an Alicorn OC, you're going to have a bad time

2. If you have an OC with Rainbow's mane, you're going to have a bad time

3. If you have an OC who's more OP/as OP as Princess Celestia, you're going to have a bad time

Rich isn't really evil, just a bit of a dick. More of an anti-hero than a villain. If he met your OCs he'd probably spend most of the time trying to annoy them.
