There were only people who loved the show there and no one to judge them at all. Its also not brony exclusive from what i hear, families and kids attend. Its for anyone who loves the show! Nah 3,182 January 5, 2012 Share January 5, 2012 depending on survivability in the next year of the brony fandom, I might start a brony convention in the St.Louis area, too expensive to rent out the Edward Jones dome or Scottrade center, I might be able to afford it in the area in Collinsville probably, they have a lot of hotels were the few anime cons in my area are held. It would be called BronieSTL if I could start it and would have it probably in the middle of July. If I could do it and my interest allows me too. BroNY Con seems to be the big, well known convention and New York isn't hellishly far away from my humble home in central Pennsylvania. Though convention wise my main focus is Comic Con. I always wanted to go there and I'm sure I have a few friends who would tag along with me to that, E3 too! Not BroNY Con though. None of my friends are Bronies so I'd have to brave that one alone! I do have relatives in chicago however so it isn't 'that' big of a deal I would just have to see if my cousin would allow me to stay with him for a weekend. My parents will probably talk me out of it somehow. 2. Money! Especially the latter.... I mean if I just went on like the Sunday that would only be 35 bucks. But, then you add in that if you wanna meet Tara Strong and get her autograph that's another 30 bucks right there. http://www.bigappleponycon.com/store/#tickets I would be kicking myself all weekend if I went to a Bronycon and not get Tara Strong's autograph so unfortunately even if my money isn't really so tight right now, I don't think I can spend 65 bucks on this at this point.
