Ok. So, I've been here a few days and haven't posted that much. It seems a bit of a waste to just have an account sitting there, doing nothing when none of the new or current topics are making me talk nor I am up to forum fun in cloudsdale.

 

I got some art, sitting around. Some of these are pretty old now. How old exactly is hard to say. You can guess up to a good couple of months...maybe over half a year. I don't really pay too much attention to the time or date. Short story. Some stuff be old.

 

I'm still new to color and that will be pretty self evident at points(I've been at it for a while but still..in comparison to my years of drawing, it isn't even a quarter). I spent almost all my childhood and teenage years drawing in outlines with pencils rather than worrying about tints or making it bright and colorful. So, might as well put some stuff up. Not fantastic but hey...some of them can be decent at points which is some sort of achievement.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

-done pretty quickly, more or less just making a quicky picture for a RP character. The next one is too-

 

(Douche pony...I made him as a joke...he was an RP character who suffered with derpy eyes-he hid via classes and forceful temp eye correction magic- and acted like a ultra hipster douche, went against the government/sisters and bashed his fans. His shirt says "I was into my band before they where cool")

(these aren't all the avatars nor are these all my pictures but its a good few of them. Yes, everyone wearing jeans. I did it as a joke to a friend that I could "get my name on everypony plot" so I made them wear jeans which people told me made the avatars look way more attractive, it was really just a ruse to brand my name there. Many lulz where shared in secret)

 

 

I'll probably add some more later. Since I'm at the upload limit and I don't want to add the rest as attachments. Depends. Its pretty late. Anyway. Hope you enjoy whats here so far. I may draw more ponies at some point but I haven't really drawn at all lately to be honest.

Its comments like these that make me realize what all those years of playing silent hill and being into creepy stuff has done to my perception as I've grown up.

No, this is all me. Being as natural as can be. You comment just went free style on my heart. Thanks, it really made my day. I appreciate it.

 

wait, actually. The very first picture I looked at some francis bacon stuff just to get the "flow" because the book was based on a game, which was based on his art. I didn't really directly keep a reference picture or copy, I noticed alot of his faces fragmented so I decided to lump faces together like clay. It kind of became its own thing as time went on. It seemed the best way to get in tune with the book atmosphere was to get in tune with the game atmosphere it was based on, whom used bacon's pictures marginally in their inspirations and designs.

Time to actually post something. I need to build up my post count a little. I haven't contributed anything for a little while and went silent.

 

I don't know if this is technically necro threaded or not but it seemed best to post any of my art in the same thread-that way people can see how it changed over time and secondly, I don't spam the forums a new thread every week or a couple if I get into random artistic bursts- This isn't really a pony picture but I've been practicing some techniques and generally trying to up my ante in terms of skill. My digital tablet is up and running again so it was nice to actually get some practice using a few of these methods on the PC rather on paper. This is the end result:

 

 

 

if I didn't post it here then I knew I wouldn't post it anywhere. I didn't go all out and detail this pic or try to flush it with all sorts of color and background happenings since that wasn't the point of the practice and methods I was using anyway.

 

Note to self: Draw ponies stuff again at some point.

Thanks buddy. I appreciate the support and the compliment. A lot of these are old and I'm constantly changing, most of these are untrained drawings to say the least and its only recently I've actually been getting my path directed. All this is the work of some dude drawing a lot, no practice, no teaching, references or tutorials. The only exception to that is the last human guy who was my first using such things.

 

I'm practicing daily and drawing become more of a science/ work than something I just do to mess about. I like it that way and I'll try to post up some better stuff at some point hopefully in the near future.

Its good to have old drawings to look back on and see how your progress has changed throughout the years. And certainly you should upload some more of your current artwork when you have the chance.
