searching Roleplayception

This is my idea for a roleplay that is striking me as humorous, but I want to see if it would be able to work!So, the plot of this is that a few characters get together one night, and start a game of live action roleplay. And with this happening, they have to create their own characters, and roleplay as their NEW characters inside a fantasy world, while showing the thought process of the original character.What do you guys think of this roleplay-ception?

That's actually REALLY weird yet 100% do-able. It's like, the weirdest thing I've heard in terms of roleplaying.

Sounds interesting enough. Though if it was to happen, I think it'd be good to have some distinction between speaker and roleplay, such as italics or something.

What exactly would be the plot? Haven't dwelled that deep yet.

Umm... I don't know what to say (but just watch my fingers will start typing stuff). What would the roleplay our OCs play be about? And why don't we just make that roleplay a roleplay? Maybe the roleplay our OCs play could actually be another roleplay from these forums that died long ago or something. And we might need to come up with some new RP terminology because what would OOC mean in this RP? Would it be out of our OC's OC or out of our OC? I'm sure if you manage to pull it off the RP will be great but I probably won't join because I can't think of an OC for my OC .

Guys, you wouldn't need to make a new OC.

It would be like playing D&D. Your character makes a character, and you roleplay as BOTH characters inside of it.

 

So yes, a roleplay within a roleplay.

Maybe the roleplay inside of the roleplay can be about a roleplay inside of a roleplay.

 

Yeah, I seriously have no idea what we'd do for the roleplay's roleplay.

So my OC wouldn't have to make a new OC? I could just be Krystal playing as Krystal? In that case I think I'm starting to get a little more interest in this RP. Maybe instead of it being a roleplay thread our OCs are playing it could be a roleplay game like >insert popular RP name here<. I don't play that many any roleplays other than those on these forums.

You'll just be rolepaying as the character, but that character is roleplaying as someone else as well. Like I said, Roleplayception!

We should role-play a random role-play and then get mad at each other through-out the story because we dont like the choices we are all making and then we all rage quit.

Certainly is uh... interesting? I don't really know... i haven't really done anything quite like this but... maybe through the Live Roleplay the ponies get to know each other more and potentially become 'more' than friends?

I'll see if I can come up with a good character, just gonna wait for more ideas about the RP to be thrown in.... xD

 

By the way, I think this is just gonna be Crona's way to get pass the character limit in RP's o3o

Yes yes and more yes. I like the idea of this. Seeing everyones thoughts on their roleplay character while that character is roleplaying, seems confusing at first, but makes since in the long run. I'm up for this
