OHOHOH~So yes, this is a discussion for the greatest series evaaaaaar, Game of Thrones!~Please try to keep spoilers to a minimum, though, as some of us haven't finished the series or plan on reading it!My favourite characters are (in order):1. I've read all the books and seen all the epis (SO PUMPED FOR SEASON THREE, EEK!) and I'm in love with the actor for Theon in the show XD

Are you reading the books as well? I'm about 200 pages into book 5 and I'll tell you this - the story now is almost unrecognizable from the story at the end of Clash of Kings.

 

Arya is my favorite character too. I also like Jon, Tyrion, and Davos. I agree that Joffrey is a little prick.

I think my favorite characters (I have only read the first two books) Are Arya, Bran, Jon, Dany, Tyrion, and Eddard. I really dislike Joffrey and Jaime, not sure about Theon, I do not mind Sansa, but Catelyn go away just just no. I dislike her greatly and her sister even more so.

I really love the series so far though, it is very thrilling and 'real'. Once I just had to set it down and walk away it was a 'wa da fuq' moment and another time I was crying and angry and threw the book at a wall....I was just very upset. But Eddard! Oh whyy?! He was the best character and Joffrey just just gah this series. Its a rollercoaster.

I'm still trying to get my hands on the books so I can start reading them, but the local store is out of the first two volumes. My favorite characters happen to be Jon, Arya, Tyrion, and Bronn.

 

It's interesting that George Martin has stated that the books are seperate from the series, even differentiating some pretty huge plot differences.

The first season is almost exactly the same as the book with a tiny bit of the 2nd at the end to build up for the next season. But a few things happen in season 2 that change the story completely. Not to say that it won't work.
