Luna in season 3

I think the show needs more luna episodes honestly in my opinion Luna is better that Celestia and that having only 1 episode with Luna beside the 2 at the start of season 1 that Luna should be a more common character in season 3 and the other seasons after it but what do u guys/girls think about this

I agree completely! Luna is a very complex and beautiful pony and while I like Celestia and all I wish Luna got more screen time. I really hope they at least give her another episode.

As much as I do so love Luna... I doubt we'll be visiting her character in depth ever again. The only thing I can see is her coming back in as she did at the end of the season 2 finale, where she comes in and says one or two lines, and doesn't really do much besides just kind of add content or a lol or two.

 

In Luna Eclipsed, we explored Luna's character thoroughly, and there would be no reason to have her in another episode, because the show teaches morals in every episode, because it is for kids, and Luna's character has already given us her lesson/moral. She doesn't really have any more of a role to play besides being a princess.

 

Kind of sad, because she really is awesome. But we have yet to see a Celestia episode...

It would be nice to see Luna more and have her more involved in the show. It just, I don't know what kinda of episode she would have. What would it be about? We kinda already had an episode where she was getting use to the town and the new time she was in. So an episode may not be the best idea because there is no story.

 

Still I would like to see her in more episodes and maybe helping out more. That would be good for her character.

I'd personally like to see more of Luna's (and Celestia's, now that I mention it) backstory and how they came to be, became princesses, started raising the sun and the moon, the relationship between the sisters, how Discord came to be etc.

 

I'd like to see Luna AND Celestia episode rather than another one about Luna by herself. Again, I'd really like to see how they'd interact or how their relationship is. Is Luna still jealous of her sister?

I'd sort to see the history of the 2 sisters and how they came into power. That's what I would want to see, Luna is a pretty cool character, but I really rather not have another whole episode thing devoted to her.

I agree. Luna is an extremely underdeveloped character (almost as much as Scootaloo). She deserves another particular episode.

Giving Luna another episode(especially during the shorter season where everypony's screen time is limited) may not be the best plan. The exception would be the young princess flashback episode which could be AMAZING. Luna's one of my favorites but it might not be wise to focus on her at the expense of the mane 6. In a longer season sure, but if any relatively minor character deserves their own episode now it should be scootaloo

I'd actually like to see Luna decide that she needs more contact with the elements and move to ponyville for a moderately long period (lets say 6 episodes) and go out on a few adventures with the mane 6.
