Your favorite Gala situations of the Mane Six

Let's go back to season 1 finale, remember that episode? haha!!

 

ok well, I want to know which of the mane6 has the most interesting scenario during that episode, considering that they were obviously doing their stuff individualy.

who was the funiest? the most boring? the most interesting? the most entertaining, oh well! give me your thoughts

 

I think the best so far is Fluttershy, because we got to see a side of her that we're not used to, I was like "DAAAAAMMNN!" she seriously wanted to LOVE those animals, she got so into it to the point to lose her mind, and it was funny and a little bit disturbing.

Rarity, as well, I think was the funniest, because I have to admit, it was funny to see Rarity struggle with that asshole of the Prince Blueblood, I wanted to kick his ass really bad at the same time for treating Rarity like that ...Pinkie Pie as well, was funny, specially because Octavia was looking at her like: "WTF are you doing?"

Applejack scenario, was really sad, I pictured her returning home without a single bit and everyone got really dissapointed because they didn't have money to eat anything, for some reason I thought of that, it's impossible for them to be poor.

 

Twilight and Rainbow Dash were really boring in my opinion, and how strong can Rainbow Dash be? she fucking caught a huge stallion as twice as her size on her back , I was like, this can't be real!!

 

so what are your thoughts?

I found Fluttershy's craziness both scary and funny. I also liked how Rainbow was all fan-girl crazy over the Wonderbolts, but everything went wrong for her.

I love Fluttershy and when I saw her go a "little" crazy that scared me. I was a little frightened after that.... And poor Rarity, that Blueblood is such a snob. I also wanted to kick his ass! Twilight's wasn't that bad in my opinion. Applejack's time was rather sad. Such rich snobs in Canterlot! Dimitri doesn't approve of them. Dimitri cares for the working pony.

Fluttershy's craziness was probably the greatest thing out of all of them. But she is so cute in everything that she does that it is hard to be scared of her even when she is freaking out.

Rarity's was definitely the best. I mean, it was funny when she went all out crazy Rarity, and just interrupted the whole Gala because of that one guy.

Of course, Fluttershy's did give us that whole "YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE MEE" thing.

I don't know about you dude but Fluttershy lost her cuteness and innosense when I saw this scene, I was scared, she loves animals so freaking much!

Princess Celestia was the most cool "you distorted my gala, frightened my gests, and woodland creatures, and made a huge mess... best gala ever!"

Twilight Sparkle actually did nothing rong all we know is that she stayed by Celestias side the hole time.

I thought Fluttershy was the most funny mostly because she resorted to insanity and was all like "LOVE ME DAMN IT!!!!" but it did bring about the most interesting vids! like this one! XD

 

 

 

I also thought Rarity came in close second mostly because I felt bad for her for being treat like she was by that jerk Blue Blood! BUT after I read a part in a fanfic I've been reading where the person has thier character kick his a$$ because he pissed him off I felt ALOT better! XD

 

 

"I turned back to my breakfast and started to take bites out of it, "I don't understand," Blueblood speaking up finally gaining my attention, "what makes that brute of a pegasus, an uncontrolled magic abusive unicorn so special, that my aunts greet you like friends every time they see you? They should have more class then this spending time with freaks of life," he asked taking a sip of juice, calmly.

 

I got a little upset at what he said about my friends, "hay, don't talk like that about my friends."

 

"Oh they're your friends, does that make you a freak like them as well?"

 

"Stop it," I yelled as I shook my hooved in hidden anger.

 

"What are you going to do about it? You are just a normal Earth pony with a deadbeat of a father in a hospital, like a vegetable, but what about your mother? Did she run away cause of your dad?"

 

When he mentioned my mom, I clenched my teeth and said in a barely controlled anger, "I said stop it."

 

"Or maybe she ran away from you? I mean I can't blame her why she would," Blueblood taunted me with false accusations of my mom.

 

"Don't you ever talk about her like that," I said with my anger rising, and the Element marking on me started to glow white,

 

"she loved me and I loved her back, and I will not stand by and let some punk talk about her like this."

 

"Ooh," Blueblood said intrigued at what I said, "past tense, then that means your mother is dead, good riddance, one less Earth pony in Equestria then," he said as he levitated a fork of salad to his mouth and chew, "such a lowly bunch."

 

I felt something snap when he said that about my mom, I stood up quickly causing the chair I was sitting on crash to floor, I raised my front legs up, "I said shut up," I slammed my front hooves on the table and there was a series of small lightings as they made contact with the table. The table started to buckle and heave and all of a suddenly a pillar shot out of the table and made contact with Blueblood's lower jaw, causing him to fly upward and land on the ground.

I froze at what I just did to Blueblood, oh god I kill Blueblood, and then I saw his chest rise and fall indicating that he is still alive, "oh thank Celestia he's still alive," I said as I dropped to the remains of the table.

 

"Holy moonshine, what happened here?" I looked over and saw Luna standing there in the doorway with a shocked look on her face, and then she saw Blueblood on the floor unconscious and got the look of disappointment.

 

Oh shit I am going to be sent to the moon, "I am so sorry Luna, I didn't know what happened, I just did, oh please don't send me to the moon," I begged as I fell the floor and braced for something to happen.

 

But instead I got this, "not again, he really needs to learn not to mess with other ponies, but this might drill this into the thick skull of his, come with me Aceiro, I think I might have found you a employment that suits your abilities really well," and with that she walked out of the room."

I didn't really enjoy any of the situations that occurred during that episode. None of them really perked my interest or sympathies or were particularly funny.

 

I felt that the two most interesting premises-- Twilight's and Pinkie Pie's-- especially were somewhat incomplete in their execution. For example, Twilight's situation would have been a lot funnier if she were constantly trying to get a word in edgewise in order to talk to Princess Celestia, but all she did was sit there with only a minimum of distress.

 

I felt that Pinkie's antics could have been even more obnoxious than what was depicted in the show, with all of the other attendees constantly telling her to be quiet, at first subtly, but eventually becoming so blunt she'd spew buckets of tears.

 

On the other hand, Fluttershy's situation had the best camerawork and dramatic qualities, although the ultimate end was badly timed. Unless that was the point, it's placement diminished the comedic impact.

Cutest was Dash's, IMO when she is fangirling out she can give Fluttershy a run for her money in adorableness

 

Overall best was Fluttershy's though, for the sheer "WTF is going on here" quality of it

Rainbow's. It entailed the most screen time and dialogue of hottest pony in the series, thus far. I guess I liked seeing Spitfire and Soarin' tugged around by the fancy ponies, all whilst Dash huffed around and went about with her tactics of trying to catch their attention.

Applejack, because she's my favorite character and I will be forevermore biased by always voting for her even if the situation isn't true. Foreverrr...

Rarity's, because she was so badass when she smashed the glass slipper and shook off cake crumbs on Blueblood. You go Rarity!

Twilight's and Rainbow's are rather boring, though...

and I honestly didn't think Fluttershy's is that funny. Kind of overrated, actually; earned Season 1's best pony simply because of that moment.

Pinkie sums everypony's day up, so she's in the middle. X3

Rainbow Dash's made me go D'aww! It was so cute seeing get all exciting like an extreme fangirl would, knowing how she is.

The only reason I liked Pinkie's is because of the Pony Pokey, other than that it was pretty boring

Fluttershy's and Applejack's situations are mah favorite ones. Fluttershy's dilemna was funny just because she ended up becoming psychotic at the end . Applejack's was, well, mostly out of personal preference, but also because I felt bad that no one was eating her food just because it was "common carnival fare" (Bluebell is a bastard http://mlpforums.com/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.png). I would've had some of her sweets if I was there .

My favourite part was when Rarity and Prince Blueblood went to buy a snack from applejacks store but Blueblood wouldn't pay. Then when Rarity offered to pay Applejack said not to worry and that she'll cover the cost, even though it would have resulted in her making a loss"

 

That's probably the scene that sold Applejack as my favourite.

I have to say Rarity and Fluttershy had my favorite gala situation. I thought Rarity's would be boring, but she really surprised me by telling off Prince Blueblood and breaking the glass slipper on the remote chance that he would find it and come after her. It showed me that status and popularity aren't everything to her; she has standards. Fluttershy's outbursts were even scarier than they were funny, because I'd never seen her lose it like that. I thought it hinted at some serious rejection issues, but that helped me identify with her more.

 

All the others were funny and frustrating. Dash saved the Wonderbolts' lives ten episodes ago and they hardly gave her the time of day, so that pissed me off a little. For the first time Pinkie was out of place in a party environment, maybe because the Gala wasn't a real party so much as a semi-compulsory event where rich ponies gathered to bore each other to death. Applejack also suffered from this when they ignored her apple treats, so I felt bad for her, but I also wondered if soliciting was legal on Gala grounds. ^^   AJ's good nature showed through her frustration when she didn't charge Rarity for Blueblood's apple fritter, so I liked it.

 

And finally we have poor Twilight, who wanted so much to sit and talk with Celestia. But since the princess apparently had not bothered to designate ushers or a welcoming committee, Twilight had to stand there with her for hours greeting every other guest that arrived. I'm sure Twilight would have gladly volunteered to organize such a committee had she known of this problem, and it stood out as yet another incident of Celestia giving her the brush-off. If she had any idea how much stress Twilight goes through for her, she would be a much more attentive teacher.
