If you haven't noticed, Borderlands 2 has a lot of things that relate to ponies such as Jack's Diamond Pony or Scooter calling us Vault Hunters "Magical Unicorns". There is also a Pink skin that has a unicorn on it and an achievement I saw which was for Zer0 and a part of it said "...Ten seconds straight." which sounds like "Ten seconds flat." from Rainbow Dash.

What are your thoughts?

There is also a destructive unicorn in one of the Red Faction games or the Pyro vision in Team Fortress 2.

 

You sure there are that many bronies? I think there are more haters than people who like the show.

 

Besides, I think it's just a coincidence that there are magical horses in a lot of games.

Bronies are increasing by the day, and the community is broadening into a mainstream environment. Public figures such as Gabe Newell, founder of Valve is a confirmed brony, so I really wouldn't be surprised if any of the dev's for Borderlands 2 are bronies.

I said to myself "Why not start a topic to find as many references as we can?". So I did.

2. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ( 4 "Mutant Teenage Rats" ((sort of)) named after the TMNT gang. Also mentions a girl name June who name refers to the character April)

3. Shakespeare ( Psycho's recite Shakespeare as the attempt to murder you, that or there saying illogical things such as "Mommy will be proud!")

Just about ALL the dialogue in Borderlands II is a reference, the weapons are almost all references (the red text), and the characters are references themselves.

 

You're crazy for wanting to name them all xD

I don't know the exact quote but there was a "Bullet to the knee" joke said by someone in sanctuary + theres the Batman rip off (I forget what the guys name is). But the game does have a pretty ridiculous amount of references.
