Bohiro 15 October 6, 2012 Share October 6, 2012 The title says it all. What is your idea for a perfect date? It is it a trip to the movies? Dinner at a fancy restaurant? A one night hookup at a sleazy hotel? Share it here! For me it'd be at my place. I'd invite him over for dinner and a movie. I'd cook, of course. I'd likely do something like, make pesto, garlic bread, and a salad with homemade dressing. And ice cream for dessert. Then it'd be movie time. Though knowing me i'd panic and download/rent way too many movies and let him choose. Some cuddles during the movie would be great, but i'd be too shy to do anything. Then after the movie the date would end with us just laying outside at night, watching the stars and chatting. Yeah yeah, I know. Cheesy. So what? Let's hear what you'd like!
SmileForever^.^ 128 October 6, 2012 Share October 6, 2012 (edited) Hmm, I've never thought about this... Mine would probably be to go to a horrible movie and make fun of it the whole way through, or a horror. Then go to a fancy restaurant and do everything we are not aloud to do in the establishment until we are banned, for life! (hehe) Then go to the park and just walk around, talk and just hang out. (and have a party) And maybe go to his place to game! (any gaming will do). ... Wow, I just realized how unromantic I am. Dimitri Hammer 3,645 October 6, 2012 Share October 6, 2012 A brisk walk through a snowy forest, a horse and buggy ride, dinner at a nice restaurant, watch the sunset, watch a scary movie, serenade with music, bring up topic of history, immediately change topic for her own safety, then end the date with a nice slow dance on the balcony under the moonlight. 4 Created by the fabulous Gone ϟ AirbourneAvatar by me
AJHunter 265 October 6, 2012 Share October 6, 2012 Here's how it'd go: I'd either make dinner and invite her over to my house. I'd probably make something pasta-based, with a homemade sauce, topped with seared ham or chicken. It'd be served with a salad, garlic bread, and a fine wine. The lights would be low, there would be candles lit in the center of the table. After dinner, we'd go see a movie, preferably horror, but not gore-centric horror. On the way to the theater, I'd be blaying some nice chill music playing softly in the car, and we could talk about whatever. Of course, I'd pay for the movie and any snacks or drinks. After the movie, I'd drive her home and walk her to her front door. There would be good night kisses. Good end! Touchin' butts since 1993HFJ SoundCloudAlso I sell shirts and stuff. KakeiTheWolf 652 October 6, 2012 Share October 6, 2012 (edited) Well, first off, I'd probably have to choose a location and sit down somewhere. The idea after that would be to ask a series of questions to determine whether or not the person is suitable for a long term relationship and eventually marriage. Then, my defining moment of perfect: She answers all the questions right and we can get to a second date without a hitch (Note: If a woman manages to answer them all correctly, she is my soul mate. If she answers any wrong, I walk out). I'm not exactly sure how romance is supposed to work. Edited October 6, 2012 by KakeiTheWolf 1 My Music: http://kakeithewolf.bandcamp.com/. Commander Bubbles 1,343 October 6, 2012 Share October 6, 2012 (edited) Let's see. A perfect date would be going to an all-you-can-eat diner, eating everything, and not throwing up on your date. That is my definiton of a "perfect date". Edited October 6, 2012 by La Li Lu Le Lo Gotta learn stuff through denial and error.
SonOfTheNorthe 412 October 6, 2012 Share October 6, 2012 A perfect date for me would include eating a bunch of home made food, and then snuggling under a blanket while listening to Wintersun- Time I. Other than that, anything that doesn't involve me getting slapped, or her running away in horror.
TOMahwk 351 October 6, 2012 Share October 6, 2012 Night out on the town, dinner, movie, coffee or something after, then stargazing. Usually my dates only hold 1 or 2 of those activities... Artemisia 166 October 9, 2012 Share October 9, 2012 I would probably say my perfect date would be: -First of all my first date -With someone I liked, who liked me -Fun and not too cheesy/gushy I would want to go out with someone who was nice and entertaining, and who'se company I could enjoy. I would probably want to go to the local soda or ice cream shop and wander the downtown area of my city talking.
One 498 October 9, 2012 Share October 9, 2012 Huh... Never thought about that... I guess just a date (forever alone) is good enough. But more specifically, someone I really like, we do something we both like (yay to partnership), and we have fun. This is a signature.
Modphase 1,271 October 9, 2012 Share October 9, 2012 (edited) If I was invited out on a date, I think a great thing to do would to make a totally accurate mannequin of myself using an octopus plush toy, a banana, a suit, and a tree stump, and place that at the dinner table as a decoy while I go to the basement and work. That would be an okay date. If you get the reference then you're totally awesome. A perfect date for me would include eating a bunch of home made food, and then snuggling under a blanket while listening to Wintersun- Time I. Other than that, anything that doesn't involve me getting slapped, or her running away in horror. Not very romantic music, but good nonetheless. Time hasn't even come out yet though..... Sugarcube 213 October 9, 2012 Share October 9, 2012 (edited) My perfect date, hmmm, *scratches head* I think last weekend I had my perfect date, which was I came home from work feeling blah, bf told me to go put on something that would make me feel better and that we were going on an adventure. I got cleaned up and dressed up, and he took me on an adventure, we listened to one of the cds he got me for Halloween and he surprised me by taking me to a local bar that is also a micro brew and has awesome calazones. We just talked and enjoyed each others company, had a couple of beers, ate dinner and then he bought me a slager of my favorite house brew at the bar to take home. I always love dates that are relaxed and at ease. Our first date was like that too after I got done being a nervous wreck Also side note, sleezy hotel dates with your special somepony can be fun Edited October 9, 2012 by Sugarcube I may have been born yesterday sir, but I stayed up all night - El-P

AegisReflector 886 October 10, 2012 Share October 10, 2012 Cookie Dough Ice Cream. Local amusement park that has a scenic ferris wheel. Ride it until the dawn appears, ever so softly holding each other's hands and me leaning my head towards her shoulder, just talking soothingly about what we have in common. But come now, that's just TOO realistic.
Broccoli 127 October 13, 2012 Share October 13, 2012 A perfect date in my sense would definately include a great/satisfactory meal. I would say go travel somewhere nice, and not too crowded. We drove to the family's lake house and took the dog. Got out on the boat on the most beautiful sunny day and cruised around. Just talking and relaxed. Very zena nd in the moment. Cherry Blossom 864 October 13, 2012 Share October 13, 2012 I guess I'd just like to sit next to my date in front of a warm and toasty fireplace. Minath Khalsi 195 October 13, 2012 Share October 13, 2012 Go to see a cheesy movie, and laugh so hard and yelol so much we get kicked out and never let back in. Then, so to some big department store and see how long it takes us to get kicked out by doing funny things. Then go to some place that serves soda and spaghetti, and slurp our spaghetti, and have a burbing competition. Then go to some really high place and throw water baloons at pedestrians. Then go for a walk near railroad tracks, and share a kiss and ice cream. So much fun! Sig by meMy ponysona, Minath Ki̱demónas My "Ask The OCs" page! miygaiya 138 October 13, 2012 Share October 13, 2012 Probably just do what I would do with friends, because that's the most fun. I ain't not no cheesy romantic person, so I'd probably just treat that someone like a friend and then maybe some nice lovey-dovey stuff later on, but not a lot. Dinner would be pizza and soda at a cheap restaurant, then some ice cream or coffee and an awesome movie (a la "TDKR" status). Then maybe a kiss or a hug, but I'm bad at hugs so bleh. SweetJeans88 408 October 14, 2012 Share October 14, 2012 me and beau's first date was pretty sweet. we really didnt even call it a date til later tho. after class, we went walking down the railroad tracks. we talked the whole way down and just got to know each other. i spied a pecan tree by the tracks, and stashed some in my hoodie and we munched on them as we walked. Before we knew it, it was almost dusk and we had walked 2 miles outside of town and were surrounded by pasture land. about halfway back, i was exhausted so we stopped under an overpass for a while. Bless his heart, zak gave me a piggy back ride the rest of the way home. we were officially bf/gf about two or three weeks later. i really wish i could get him to take me dancing tho hahaha <3 GO CONTRIBUTE! my art: here, and tumblr
