Equestria Girls Dance mini-game has changed in this update. Our highest score(s) is still recorded before this update came in, but it's hard to get around beating our own score(s) or your friend's score(s) so apparently the songs are easy right now.

 

I did that daily & weekly event, but I only got one of the rewards though. I have to do the other one which is the mine cart mini-game. The one for equestria girls dance mini-game is in progress.

 

I started the sweet apple acres questline, but it's a lot to go through. I just needed someone to send me a chest for One of the quests I'm on. I would give you guys a chest, but I think my Friend list has been overflowing lately so I dunno who's active and who I need to keep right now.

 

Just as a warning to you guys, Granny smith cost around 400 gems (really?).

Speaking of gems, I didn't know we had to buy Soarin' in 1 of Rainbow Dash's quest. (he costs 150 gems)

Thanks anyway. There's another way to get soarin without spending gems. You can win him over at equestria girls dance mini-game so that'll save you gems so you have to wait for the rewards to change first because these gem based ponies are randomized.

You have to go to the app store, but if it's android, then you have to wait. Update is varies by android and iOS so it depends on which system you use for the update.

You probably have decors for sweet apple acres, but if you have other decors that you've won from equestria girls dance mini-game for ponyville and canterlot, then probably that's your answer. Some of the decors from ponyville have been moved to sweet apple acres.

I literally took everything out of my inventory in every area and it won't leave me alone! It DID go away once I had EVERYTHING out of the inventory; but then I tried putting one thing back in, and the box showed up. I went and acknowledged my inventory, and the box absolutely refuses to stay away unless I keep absolutely everything out and placed somewhere. I like everything else about his update!

well...other than it drained about 90% of my 5-star ponies from my Ponyville shops and sent them to SAA...

Well, they upped the level cap to 80 with this update so you have to keep working in order to get Pinkie's parents. Haha. You're not done yet!

Had to restart the game on my Lenovo Android Tablet

Didnt want to launch after I was at level 49 so had to reboot the tablet from sctatch.

But yes I like the news about the upgrade.

 

Havent got it yet but cant wait.

You know... I noticed a few kinda weird things on the new loading screen, 1 applejack a hair seems to have gone towards rarity's, 2 where is babs looking....3 maybe it's just me, but apple jacks face looks...kinda weird

Finally updated the game.

- The experience curve has been modified, it takes more time to level up now.

- Applejack no longer in Ponyville

- Sweet Apples Acres is really nice! And there're a lot of new quests, shops and ponies. But there aren't the voices during the dialogue unfortunately. -_-

- The map is very interesting, most of the places are still unknown in the show.

- Granny Smith costs 405 gems, wtf!!

There appears to be partial code in there for Everfree that is in addition to the simple image asset. There is an extra image asset group and animation code, nothing I could see indicating quests, dialog, and characters. I was curious when I noticed that Everfree seems to move and scale in the transition from the map to an area.

 

My guess is that Everfree will be the next area. I see this all the time when they update Simpsons Tapped Out. Little code snippets indicating upcoming content.

 

And Trenderhoof is going to take me for freaking ever to unlock!

I played this game too, and yeah I remember some people were able to see the upcoming content.

Everfree Forest, the next area? Except Fluttershy and Zecora, I don't see who's going to be there.

If Crystal Empire were to be released then it's most likely that ms. harshwinny, princess cadance, and (prince) shining armor will be move there, but not sure if that will happen though. If manehattan were to be released, then probably suri will move there since we have her at a early day not sure about babs seed, uncle, and aunt orange.

I've been playing a while now, and thought I might share some of my insights.

 

I'll start with the mine cart game, since it is my favorite and all. An unanswered (as far as I can tell) question is "where do you start seeing gems?" The answer varies. For the mine cart game, there are two things to consider, your current points, and how far you've travelled. Which shards you find are based on your points—the higher your score, the more often you see rarer shards. Gems don't care what your score is. They show up at a certain depth and are independent of your score.

 

Here is where gems start to show up:

 

For playing with 100 bits (1x): ~4000 points

For playing with 1000 bits (2x): ~8000 points

For playing with 2 gems (4x): ~16000 points

 

Notice the trend? Gems show up based on how far you've gotten, independent of your score multiplier.

 

The most hated foe in the mines is that jumpy Shadowbolt. One technique to try to thwart them is to ignore which foe (Shadowbolt or Diamond Dog) and instead focus on the timing. If you jump at the last moment, you will avoid either one. You'll be low enough to still duck under a Shadowbolt, but high enough to clear a Diamond Dog. Try it!

 

If nothing else, practice makes perfect. Mine cart wheels are easy enough to obtain that you can virtually play the mini game nonstop. I don't think anypony has mentioned it, but you can get mine cart wheels by tapping on your decorations. Usually, a few taps on a decoration will give a single bit, but rarely it will yield a cart wheel. It is entirely possible to replenish all 5 in a few minutes!

I get that same feeling too about the shadowbolts because they're extremely hard and annoying to avoid along with the diamond dogs whenever I'm at around 4k points or more. you should always use 2x cart if score matters to you. That's what i did to earn some points.
