"I was safe enough, I just didn't know what would happen to you," he murmurs, "So many things have been taken from me, I just expected you wouldn't be here when I got back. You have no idea how happy I am that I was wrong. You know how I always mention your soft? It's because I'm used to rough things, like leather, iron, wood, scars, stuff like that. And you remember how I always say you smell nice? You smell way better than blood, and the smell of death and torture. So when I say random things, they aren't very random for me," he takes his face out of her mane and looks away.

"Well I guess I could teach you my invisibility spell but it will take a lot of effort for me to teach you it and if you don't master it and put to much magic into the spell you'll become unconscious which could make you a great burden on missions. So you sure you want to learn this spell?" Letrix asked curiously.

 

"Yeah! Going unconscious a million times is better than getting caught and thrown in prison or dying! If I'm gonna be a burden, then I won't go on recon missions or anything like that until I at least get close to mastering it," replied Star Rain, determined not to be wanted for something she didn't even do.

"They are random, Velnir," she said comfortingly as they reached the house. "It's your history. I may not know and may not want to know how it feels, but it makes sense..."

She lifted his head towards her own, and gazed into Velnir's eyes. She slowly went up to kiss him.

"Yeah... If you're plans are ready, we may be able to go tell Vinyl that we are ready. I just hope that there isn't something going on between the two of them that is something I wouldn't like."

 

"What could they be doing? You think they may be conspiring something? Nah that seems unlikely; Cherry doesn't seem like that kind of mare... but yeah, I'm ready. Let's go talk to her." By now, the square's filling had slowed down to just a trickle. There were maybe one thousand to two thousand pegasi lined up; some in uniform or armor and others not. "Is this your entire military?"

"What could they be doing? You think they may be conspiring something? Nah that seems unlikely; Cherry doesn't seem like that kind of mare... but yeah, I'm ready. Let's go talk to her." By now, the square's filling had slowed down to just a trickle. There were maybe one thousand to two thousand pegasi lined up; some in uniform or armor and others not. "Is this your entire military?"

 

"At the current moment, yes. All others are guarding our borders."

She nodded to a commander and told him to prep for battle. She then set off towards where Vinyl and Cherry disappeared.

"No, they may not be conspiring, but I have a bad feeling..."

She leaned into Martin.

"I'm just glad you're here to help in case anything goes down."

He steps closer, and brushes her lips as if asking for permission. When he thought she gave it to him, he kissed her, feeling as if every inch of what made him a good pony was put into it. He suddenly knew, if this pony was killed, he would never be the same. Not one bit.

He leaned back and nuzzled her cheek, but quickly and subtly so nopony noticed "I'm glad I'm here too... especially with you... I hope that after this is all over we can be more public about us ..." they came up to the spa. "Why's she going to the spa anyway? I mean, spa's are great, I'd love to spend a day at one, but doesn't she know that we're sort of doing a super important invasion right now?"

Cherry Blossom's attention changed from the wall, to the commotion in the other room. She sighed and just let the steam feel warm against her coat while looking around. Well there's quite a lot of talking back there... Wait a minute, Commander Hurricane? she thought.

Surge had reached the Unicorn boarder. As he walked up the the gate he was stopped by two guards with spears. Chill guys. I am unarmed and i come in peace. Pointing to the cart of food and Sapphire. I have brought a quarter of your food ration. And the one known as Commander Sapphire. Un-cuffing her. Well Sapphire your home now. I just hope you keep up your part of the deal.

"I saw Cherry Blossom and Vinyl Blade enter here. I demand to know where they are now."

"I'm going to bed now... If, um... If you'd like to come."

"I, uhh, I think that would be... a very, uhh," he seemed flusterred and red, whichwas weird to him, because he really really wanted to go, "I think... that would be, uh.... Yes! There it is, the answer I was looking for. I think that is a wonderful idea," he said it choppily, as if forcing his brain to work.

She giggled a bit, shyly, and smiled at him.

"You know, that was a bit cute, Velnir..."

"I made the right decision. I know I did. This can't go too wrong with him. I'm sure in the end it will all be better and nothing will harm us."

He blushed, pulling into himself a little. He kisses her gently, and walks upstairs to one of the bedrooms, leaving the door open. He lays in the bed and stares at the doorway, waiting for her to come upstairs, forgetting everything that had happened earlier, which, for him,was a miracle.

She thought for a moment. How did she end up with Velnir? It was true, he wasn't really that good looking and he didn't have the best history, but.. What was about him? She walked up the steps slowly and stood in the doorway, smiling at him.

He lay on his back under the covers, looking a bit like a small foal. He smiled at her, patting the bed beside him. He looked very trusting, and full of love that he hadn't had a chance to give. He seemed pretty small under the covers. Or maybe that was his blush.

(OOC: If my reentry post is a bit off I apologize, I missed quite a bit. I'm not really sure how long it has been in the RP or what has happened.)

 

Snowy Fields was hiding in the Earth Pony's territory as he had been for the last few days, watching and waiting for any sign of Sapphire or Fire Blade. He was thinking of heading back to the Unicorn territory get some reinforcements to rescue both of them. However, he soon heard some ponies walking on a nearby path. He peered out onto to the path and saw that Commander Sapphire was being led back towards the border that separated the Kingdoms. Snow Fields silently stalked them. Hopefully, they are just going to release her...

Sapphire noticed a pony watching them for a few minutes already. She remained silent about it. As she arrived on the border she was let free. "I will honor your terms. Do not worry." She assured Surge as she left. She was now with the two unicorn guards. "You, in the bushes, identify yourself." She said to the pony hiding in the bushes.

The two guards raised their weapons, aimed at the bush.

Snowy Fields rolled his eyes at his own incompetence when it came to stealth as he stepped out from behind the bushes. He left his spear hidden in the bush to make him seem like less of a threat.

 

"I'm Snowy Fields, a soldier in the Unicorn army."

The two unicorn guards lowered their weapons as they saw a unicorn step out.

Sapphire smiled as Snowy stepped from their bush. "You were in the earth pony's territory the entire time? I'm impressed, get your gear, we are heading home." She told Snowy. Sapphire then cast the spell she used when she was captured, after some effort her spear, dagger and saddlebag appeared in front of her. She picked them up and kept them.

He lay on his back under the covers, looking a bit like a small foal. He smiled at her, patting the bed beside him. He looked very trusting, and full of love that he hadn't had a chance to give. He seemed pretty small under the covers. Or maybe that was his blush.

 

She slowly started moving over towards the bed, closing the door behind her when she could. She climbed onto the bed and looked into Velnir's eyes, then hugged him and look up at him.

"Mm... Velnir, I- I love you."

She blushed and rested her head on his chest, her heart rate increasing a bit.

Snowy Fields nodded as he magically lifted his spear out of the bush and carried it next to him. "Thank you." Snowy said to Sapphire as he evaluated the two Earth Pony soldiers. A part of him wanted to kill them both, mainly to release the stress and frustration that had built up over the last few days. The only reason he didn't was because he didn't want to be at war with both the Earth Ponies and the Pegasi at the same time.

He puts and arm around her, blushing, "Shelby, to say I love you," he said, tilting her head up and smiling, "Would be the biggest understatement of my life." He kissed her, since she hadn't given him the chance to kiss her back earlier, then added, "Since I've met you, I've wondered several times if, um..." He started blushing, and asked, "Shelby, are you an angel?" (XP)

She had to try to not laugh at this.

"Wow. That is possibly either the most cheesy or romantic thing I have heard... I'm going to call it cheesy, with a side of romance... But the side is almost nonexistent."

Velnir goes back to look her in the eyes, serious, "In all of my life, I have never met a more perfect pony. I'm scared, for the first time in long time. I'm afraid I'll lose you. And I'm afraid of what that would make me." He finished that line staring at a wall. "I'm such an idiot" he smiles.

As Surge and Windscar left back to the Earth Pony Kingdom....Surge do you really think she will keep her word? I mean they know you have the rest of the food. they know you food in the caves. And they know that we still have Fire Blade. So whats to keep them from attacking us? Surge just walked and smiled.WS jumped in front of him and stops him. What are you smiling about? What seems to be so funny? Surge leans down and kisses her deeply. She was stunned and first and then just melted in with it. As Surge broke the kiss she was in full blush and her wings were showing through her coat. W.....W....What was....that for? To calm you down. And because i love your lips so much. And your wings are showing. You might want to put the away. *folds her wings back in.still blushing* But still...What if they dont keep their word? Have a little faith WS. Thats the only thing we can do. And if this A.R.K im trying to build with them sinks then ill be ready to swim and fight for whats mine.

 

Back in his room Fatigue looks into his ax. Looking at the reflection of the monster he saw. Flashing back on the things he had done to Velinr. (blue letters are martin) This Velinr guy is good at this. Yea but still not as good as me. what do you think Surge? Ill say he knows his way around a potion or two. But i dont know if he has the heart for this job. Pony is screaming in pain. Velinr stopped. Please sir......stop this.....please....i have a family.....Is this really what i want to do with my life? Be a bringer of pain? A harbinger of death? Drops his cutting tool on the ground. Velinr what are you doing? Pick up your tool and finish your job. I.....I cant sir.....I just....cant. Surge shook his head. Fatigue looked at the anger on Martin's face. As Martin was about to confront him Fatigue put his arm out. No Sir....Ill handle this one. Martin nods his head as Fatigue walked in. He picked up the tool Velinr was using, pinned him to the wall with the blade to his chest. If you wont finish the job then we'll just have to do so to you. Starts to cut across his chest. So whos side are you on? Ahhhhggg......Fatigue.....why are you....Ahhhhgggg...Doing this..to me? Because you might be a traitor. Thats enough Fatigue. Let him go. Velinr go home and get cleaned up. And be back in the morning with your head in the right place. Limping out the room past Martin. If this is how.....im going to ....treated....i may never come back. Walks out the door. Martin looks to Fatigue and Surge. I want him gone....He knows to much. Fatigue. Surge. Deal with him. Yes sir. Yes sir. A few days later late one night Surge and Fatigue were outside Velinr's house. Fatigue this is going to far. Im not going to do this. Well id rather do this then let Martin get to him. Fatigue....Im not burning his house down. Fine run away. But im going to save his life. As Surge walked off.....This is for your own good Velinr....Stes the house on fire. The next day. So i see Velinrs house somehow "burned" down. Where there any witnesses? No sir. Good. And the body? Burned to crisp sir. There is no way to I.D the body. Good job Fatigue. I ca can see you becoming my second in command one day. Thank you sir. Back at Velinrs house he comes home to a pile of ash. Thank god your ok. I thought you were in there. What the hell happened to my house? It caught fire last night. We thought you were dead. So....this is how it has to be Surge? You had to try and kill me so i wouldent talk? I get the hint....Im gone then. You will never see me again. Im sorry Velinr....Buck off Surge. Walks away. Flash back ends. Sigh......only if you knew the truth Velinr....Only if....I hurt you....in order to save you. Drops ax into the floor.
