My favorite Marvel hero (if he even counts as a hero) is the Punisher. I sympathize with his character, and he accomplishes some very impressive feats even without super powers. My favorite characters tend to be anti-heroes. If we're talking about more idealistic, heroic characters, then my favorite Marvel hero would be Captain America because he keeps up with Thor and even the Hulk much of the time despite having very few powers.

When i was little i always loved spiderman. I had Spiderman everything. i had action figures, bedsheets, posters, basically think of a Brony's room except replace ponies with spiderman hahaha! I eventually grew out of that though and all that stuff is in the attic. Now i would have to say my favorite is Iron Man. Tony Stark is a badass hahaha. But i still like spiderman too. Just Tony became my new fav.

Spider-man for me but its not the Peter Parker one, it the All new Ultimate Spider-man Miles Morales he's rely grown on  me for the year his comics have been out for. runners up for my Fav would be Captain Marvel (formally miss Marvel), the Punisher, Daredevil, Agent Venom and Thor my least fav is Deadpool he is the worst thing to come out of comics in the 90's next to carnage

The Punisher..the guy just breaths bad ass to a T. How many can take a wooping like he did from The Russian and survive it? Not to mention he's held his own against 'Daken' Wolverine's son and almost killed him as a Frankenstein hybrid. I still quote his last lines from his 2004 movie.

Captain America. In my opinion, he isn't so much about America as he is just all about being a good person. He's Steve Rogers - just an all-around good guy. These days, someone who stands by their values and principles is something that you don't see very often anymore - and that's why he's my favorite hero.

Pretty much this. I used to love love love Spider-Man, and I still do like him, but I don't get any of the action figures or whatever. Now I just follow the video games and movies, though I'm trying to get into the comics.

Absolutely love Spider-Man. I've been a huge fan ever since I read Stan Lee and Steve Ditko's original run nearly a decade ago.

 

He has a totally unique power set that provides a lot of interesting, he has the best costume design ever, he's hilarious and relatable on a level no one else approaches, he's supported by a wonderful supporting cast and faces some of the greatest villains in all of comic-book-dom, and Peter Parker is the best alter ego. The fact that he's allowed to make mistakes and grow automatically puts him leagues above most other characters.

 

He's my childhood hero. Favorite fictional character period.

I have to say Johnny Storm aka The Human Torch. I wasn't interested at all until I saw the commercials for the Fantastic Four movie and I thought Johnny was the coolest. He seems to have the most depth to him. I mean he acts immature and stuff but he was smart enough to get into NASA and pilot the spaceship plus he was the first one to save someone using his power (the little girl on the bridge) So yea awesome!

That's not even a question. Spider-Man, without a doubt. Spider-Man is the reason as to why I'm the person I am today. Without Spidey, I doubt I would be typing on this forum, nor would I be as nerdy as I am now. Spider-Man was also the character that introduced me to comic books, which I love for the record. I grew up with a lot of Spider-Man material, and I do plan on writing my own Spider-Man comic if I can actually draw, but then again, I can get an artist for that.
The fact that Spider-Man differs from the normal superhero also helps on making him more unique. He has problems, relatable problems, which help make Spider-Man a more three-dimensional character.
