gaming Pokemon Ruby Discussion

Hi everybrony I am here to talk about Pokemon Ruby, it is a gameboy advance game but you can play it on normal ds's or ds lites. There is a trend going round in my brothers school (and he is in year 10) about game boy advances. So I have been playing Pokemon Ruby. So I thought we could all think what would are team be?

ONLY POKEMON FROM THE HOEN REGION(Or pokemon that are not available)

Just so you know that is my real team right now all level 38 and they are all the right gender accept for Gardivoir who is really a boy but gallade is the version now so I have a glitched Gardivoir! (Can't wait to trade it to pokemon black!)

Have you heard about emulators? You can play gameboy games on your laptop or computer. I may as well get Pokemon Ruby and play it.

I recently started a Nuzlocke Challenge on Pokémon Emerald...and before you say it's not Ruby, it's practically the same. I don't see why I cannot mention it.

 

Anyway, so far, so good. Not really far into it, so the challenge doesn't really take effect yet.

 

Zigzagoon is by far the most adorable reincarnation of Rattata ever. Rattata is okay, I guess... but Bidoof? Oh, him alone makes me loath the Sinnoh... >.> (not that anything is wrong with Sinnoh. I like it, in fact...to an extent...)

 

Zangoose is by far the coolest normal type so far. Too bad he doesn't appear in Emerald... >.>

 

 

Have you heard about emulators? You can play gameboy games on your laptop or computer. I may as well get Pokemon Ruby and play it.

 

I would normally advise against emulators, but I think with Pokémon it doesn't really matter. In fact, with the ability to speed up the game, the whole experience becomes much less tedious and time consuming. Grinding is now tolerable (plus you can turn off the music and listen to something of your own)!

Ah, Pokemon Ruby.

 

I remember when that first came out. I got Ruby and my brother got Sapphire. Not too much later I got Emerald, and it was loads of fun. 3rd generation is definitely my favorite of them. I love the Pokemon, Seviper is my favorite.

3rd gen of Pokemon gets way too much hate. Usually, my team on that gen goes something like Blaziken, Swellow, Crawdaunt, Seviper, Breloom, Grumpig.

I myself played Sapphire, which is exactly the same as Ruby except for small changes to the wild Pokemon lineup. It's still my favorite generation to this day, although I've played a game from each from start to finish.

 

There are some rumors that Ruby/Sapphire are going to be remade sometime soon, similar to how LeafGreen/FireRed and HearGold/SoulSilver were made. Should still be a while until then, since Black and White 2 were released just a few weeks ago, but still sounds awesome.

Swampert is such a beast! I like the Generation 3 games. I don't see why they get so much flak. Especially since Hoenn is the prettiest of the regions (caves, oceans, plains, etc.).

Last time I played Ruby was when i was 11 i believe...i would still play it to this day if i wouldn't have lost it. But usually my team goes something like this:

 

Gardevoir (or Kadabra)

Flygon

Salamence

Swampert

Swellow

Pelipper

I am so disappointed in all of you. I mean your teams are ok but how could you not have a Pumbloom? He's only like the rarest and coolest Pokemon. Well next to Gamsmash and Gumgoose. And lets not forget Wingull's evolution, Pelistorm, he's cool too.

Anyways, you've gotta get a Breloom. Those guys are the BEST.
