dad george 105 November 9, 2012 Share November 9, 2012 It's all in the title. Have you ever had an awkward feeling while watching the show? Someone that walked in on you in an awkward fashion? And awkward thought that went through your mind? For me that'd be when I heared "Love is in bloom". I was literally like "Hey, why would they put an English song in here!?". That's right. I had been watching for, oh, like 50 episodes. And I didn't realise the whole show was in English. Sorry for lack of pressing the enter key, it doesn't work on these forums. Dunno why, probably just Windows 8. Even still, there are those moments where my mind is yelling "Gah! That's so childishly embarrassing - I can't watch..." The only ones that don't know of me being a brony yet are my little brother and my grandpa. Yes, everybody from my mom to my best friend knows, but I am scared that my little brother finds out... . A customer walked into the back to look for a employee and he saw me singing along to the theme song. We stared at each other for five minutes without saying anything Then he suddenly said "I like Pinkie Pie." Then he ran out of the store.... Pretty funny.... dad george 105 November 9, 2012 Author Share November 9, 2012 Haha I'm not really "spamming" as in safdPONIESsfa, neither am I spamming as in OMG YOU MUST WATCH PONIES OR DIE, but I send a few messages regarding ponies (trying to start up a conversation about them), even though this was mostly to annoy the kid everybody hates. On a side note, I totally flipped out when I was looking at a story a classmate wrote, and I read the word "pony" multiple times, and I also read "Luna" once... It's kinda weird, my younger siblings are fans of the show thanks to me, and they watch the show on the hub every morning at breakfast. I just had a graphic artist finish a rendering of rainbowdash i'm going to use for pin striping my truck. I still have to take it to the vinyl shop and get an estimate on how much it'll cost to have it put on my truck but i think it'll make for some interesting conversations. I love seeing people's reactions when I pull up next to them at traffic lights. As for my most awkward moment while watching MLP, it would be the time I convinced my father to watch an episode with me. We were stone-faced the whole time, and when we were done we simultaneously said, "Never again." (I like the theme song), So whenever I come to it, I skip the first part, and go straight to the main part of the song. At that point, nobody in my family knew I was a brony, so she must have seen me mention it in a Facebook post. My response went something like: "It's... uh... this TV show and... uh... it's sort of... an internet thing? Well, not really, but... it's... uh... DON'T JUDGE ME!" Another awkward moment (well, I was the one who made it awkward) was when I was blasting "Smile" in my car with my windows rolled down, and I came to a stop light when a woman was crossing the street. I was watching it and all the sudden a wild theme song appears. I have never felt more awkward in my entire life than I had right then... Now I don't even mind it. Sometimes I even sing along to it! Why are people calling the theme song childish in the first place? You and I are watching a show made for little girls! Of course it's going to be "childish"!
