After seeing the "Things You Hate About Yourself Thread", I decided to start one that was a bit more upbeat.I love that I'm so optimistic when I have absolutely no reason to be. I blame you for this Pinkie Pie...I love that I'm a pretty good cook. I make a mean stir-fry.I love that I'm vegetarian.Okay, now it's your turn.

Hm...what do i love about myself?...

 

One thing that's really more bittersweet than 'good' is that I always have to creating something, no matter what I'm into. This is bittersweet because I often am only half-decent and my creations are mediocre, kinda like some of my earlier MLP instrumental music.

However this is still cool because recently I've been getting into fic writing, which I think I do much better at--check the link in my sig if you want to find out.

 

Also, especially after becoming a brony, I try very hard to act like a 'good person'. I try not to hate on anything or anyone, and while I usually am very goofy and crazy like Pinkie Pie, I'm always up for an intelligent discussion if somepony needs or wants one.

I like that I can see the humor in any situation, regardless of how bad it may be.

 

I like that I can be direct with people, even if it does get me into some sticky situations.

I love what people take for granted. I appreciate the smaller things that people don't consider to be too much value in a first world. Not a lot of people realize what fortune they actually possess. Whether it be a house, new car, shelter, food, water, whatever! I even appreciate polite comments about myself or others. I exemplify those things back to make people with a brighter day. I'm nothing but blessed to have things in my environment that has made living a easier, and has placed myself to purge a set meaning for myself. I love that I know how to cook a delicious pot of lentils. (better than my own mother, and she's the one who introduced me to them!)

 

I love how I'll randomly feel like baking cookies, and will usually go for the more interesting options like snickerdoodles and Rosemary shortbread cookies.

I love my mighty fine hair! And that I am always the trend setter in my group of friends. I introduced many on them to MLP, Homestuck, Code Geass, Game Of Thrones, Wooden Toaster's music and other things too.

I love my sense of humor though I have to be a bit careful around mixed company sometimes as my mind can sometimes go in the gutter. I love that I have a lot of different interests and that I am willing to try new things. I love that I know how to cook almost anything you can think of, I love being a musician and a writer. I love that I am honest even if I can come off as blunt and sometimes say the wrong thing at the wrong time.

I'm able to laugh at myself whenever I'm made fun of, I don't know it's just something that I learned to do because I felt I waste so much energy from being pissed off at someone, why waste your time being mad over something someone said when it'll be forgotten the next day right?

No matter how tempted I may get to lose my cool sometimes I always manage to keep a lid on it, but I find a non-destructive outlet rather than bottling it up.

I like the fact that I have good tastes in music and humor (or at least I think I do). I mostly like classic and progressive rock, and I really enjoy any type of humor, especially satirical and surreal humor.

 

I guess I also love the fact that I was willing enough to try watching MLP a few weeks ago and became a brony!

The fact I'm a pianist and a violinist is one thing. Having developed a strong reputation for intelligence and versatility everywhere I go is another. I think it's the fact I can still get As and A+s on all my university biology and chemistry courses and still win music competitions and blow the audience away with my performances.

My sense of humour. I can usually laugh at almost anything. Not at bad things, mind you, but just other things.

The fact that I don't care about things much. By this I mean, I don't care what you are, what you do, or anything, if you want to be my friend I would be your friend.
