  1. Master Sword. Just. My obsession with the Zelda games. That's all you need to know. I also think Talim's version of Soul Calibur and Soul Edge from SC4 would be awesome, and Ivy's sword (not sure which one exactly) from SC4 as well. 'Cause they're awesome and all. OMG THE CROSSBOW FROM BIOSHOCK Wow probably more but my brain is dead right now so yeah.
  2. I have this problem where I really don't like to eat in front of most people. Long story behind that. But I've never sat down and eaten with my own family before since we don't have a dining room nor a dining room table, so I'd usually just go in my room and eat alone. I don't have a problem eating around friends but it's extremely awkward for me to sit down at like, a dinner table, and eat with people. I've only done it like 4 times my whole life and I turn 19 this November. It makes me really uncomfortable.
  3. Well, I didn't make the Twilight vector, but I did caption it myself. I thought it was pretty funny. So yeah, that's the extent of my story behind my current picture.
  4. Do I care about how I look? To an extent, yeah. I like weird styles so I like to dye my hair (it's blue right now) and wear all kinds of crazy clothes, ranging from cybergoth to elegant gothic lolita to harajuku. So I do that because I want to, and because I like it. It's fun to me. Do I care about what other people think about my looks? lolno. That I don't care about. I honestly get more compliments for my weird stuff than insults. It's about how you wear it, really. Compliments are always nice to get so you could say that I care about those because I thank the people who give them to me; then again, that's just common courtesy.
  5. I reccomend using a plain white toothpaste on the disc. A few summers ago, I had to keep my 360 vertical (unfortunately) and I was putting Red Dead Redemption in when I bumped the tray and it started to close, while the game was only part-way in . . . Needless to say, there was a huge gouge there. I had some really weird glitches going on because of that, like my horse going under the map and running without its legs moving and stuff. Anyway, take the plain white toothpaste and spread it on the scratches. Wait about 15 minutes. Clean it off with a damp cloth (microfiber is best) and make sure it's not all streaky or anything. It should work after that. My RDR worked just fine after doing this.
  6. We'll do 'em soon! We graduate high school tomorrow, so over the summer we should be able to get together and do art stuff. I probably need to borrow her scanner to start uploading my OC pony, too. ;v;
  7. TTvTT I don't have the paper anymore, I think she has it, LOL. We were gonna do better ones and colour them, anyhow. xD
  8. Hi! :> Welcome to the forums! Robots and ponies . . . reminds me, two weeks ago my friend and I drew robo-pony dinosaurs. it was for a challenge thing don't question it
  9. Why do I always go on random, long hiatuseseses?

  10. pppbbbt pbtttt pbbt ppttbb tppbtt.

  11. Back from another hiatus.

  12. I think what this boils down to is everyone's individual view of Pinkie. Everyone feels differently and is affected differently by each of the character's personalities and actions. It's interpretation - it's going to differ - sometimes drastically. For example: I thought the mailbox thing was cute. It was probably really entertaining to the younger audience. We're not the only fans of the ponies, my friends - there are fans much older and younger than we, and we have to make room to accommodate everyone, as this is a family show, as I had previously stated. However, I do think that some people get really hung up on how they believe each character should behave, and do not like when the creators of the show make them behave differently. I think that this is a problem in any fandom, and can skew someone's interpretation of a character and their actions, thus resulting in a dislike for the character/how they behaved at that time. There's a fine line between understanding and adoring a character, and shaping a character yourself. I'm speaking generally, here - I'm not claiming that anyone here is doing this exactly (or at all, for that matter), but I do see this sort of thing happen in the Brony Community as a whole. Sometimes, I think we may need to take a step back from the fanfics, the fanart, and our own opinions of characters, and think about why the creators may have made that particular do that particular thing. Was it a tip of the hat to Bronies? Was it something that was specifically intended to entertain the younger audience? Was this supposed to have a subtle adult joke? Perhaps bringing ourselves to do so will help us understand why the characters behave as they do at certain times.
  13. I don't think there was even any cheating involved from the start. Trixie just used the excuse of a magic duel as a way to kick Twilight out of Ponyville and take over. It was a ruse - there was no actual competition from the start, because Trixie knew that the amulet would ensure her victory. It was just an effective segue to taking over Ponyville as revenge. Even if it was a true competition, no rules were ever set that one could not use extra help. Trixie's extra help came from the amulet, whereas Twilight's came from her friends. If the rules had been raw power and magic, then, Trixie would've had to remove the amulet and she would've been stopped right there. If she violated her own rules, I'm pretty sure it would start a huge magic fight. A serious one, not just performing tricks on other ponies and stuff. Plus, if "cheating" meant I saved my entire town from being enslaved and humiliated by some vengeful mare, I'd do it. It's better than letting them . . . be enslaved and humiliated!
  14. They weren't villains, just antagonists. That means that they were a threat or competition in some way or another to someone. Here, the Apples' farm was at stake, so if they had no place to go . . . well that's bad. Not counting that, they are competition.
  15. As I've watched MLP: FiM, and as they've introduced (and technically taken away) alicorns, I've been wondering . . . Does an alicorn's physical build reflect their accrued abilites and powers? Let's take a look at what's triggered this thought process. Princess Celestia: Celestia is revered as one of the strongest ponies in Equestria as we know it. Though we do not see her do much fighting - as she is focusing more on training Twilight and taking care of the kingdom- we know she's rather powerful. She raises the sun - and at one time, both the sun and the moon - and she was able to banish Nightmare Moon once she came into existence. She's very tall and slender. Princess Luna - "Normal:" This particular picture features Luna once she has gone back to "normal" in season two. She's similar to Celestia now in stature and . . . that cool thing they do with their hair. We know Luna is rather powerful as well, as she once raised - and, I assume now that she's returned - and currently is raising the moon. Probably has the same range of power as Celestia, although, I'm certain they have varying abilities. Now, when Luna was consumed by negativity, she became Nightmare Moon. After the EoH defeated NMM and returned Luna to, well, Luna, we see this: Princess Luna - "Down-Powered:" I say that this Luna is "down-powered" because NMM was pretty much overpowered, to an extent. I'm sure that after being consumed by all that corrupt power, Luna would be somewhat drained. That, or she reverted to her appearance from when she was banished 1,000 years ago. A plausible argument, in my opinion, as one can grow exponentially stronger over the course of 1,000 years, at least if they're a royal alicorn. Here's a size-comparison between D-P Luna and Celestia. They're crouching, so they're essentially at the same height, you just can't see their full legs here: If we assume that physical state corresponds with power and ability, and that Luna was under-powered in season one for some reason, then this begins to make sense. Also, here's a size-comparison between Celestia and the Mane 6 to give everyone a better idea of how tall Celestia is: Celestia is approximately twice the size of an average mare, counting the horn. If not, it looks like a mare is two-thirds the size of Celestia. But this craziness does not end here! Oh no. Let's delve into what the season two finale brought us. Princess Cadence: We didn't know much about Cadence during season two, other than she has the ability to mend relationships/spread love, was Twilight's foalsitter, and is marrying Shining Armour. In season 3, we know Aside from all that, we can see Cadence is notably taller than Twilight, being about equal height with Shining Armour, who is a full-grown stallion. However, Cadence's horn is longer than his. Cadence is also still shorter than Celestia. This may suggest that she is stronger than Shining Armour, but weaker than Celestia (in terms of accrued power/ability). Here they are during the wedding, all standing on level-ground: And here's a comparison between Twilight and Shining Armour to help with size comparisons: Queen Chrysalis: Chrysalis is about the same size as Celestia and was able to knock her down, suggesting that Chrysalis is rather powerful. That and she's even a Queen, not a Princess, leading an army of love-eating . . . pony-bug-Changling things. So, recap: Celestia and Luna are rather strong, probably both the strongest and tallest we know of right now. Luna seemed under-powered and shorter once she was transformed back from Nightmare Moon. Cadence is pretty strong, being an alicorn and all, but she's still shorter than Celestia. She is at equal height with Shining Armour, but her horn is longer than his, but shorter than Celestia's. Queen Chrysalis was about Celesta's size, and was able to defeat her (to an extent). So what do you think? Does an alicorn's size reflect its power?
  16. I don't think the Mane 6 will ever get shipped officially. None of them even have official sexuality. It may take away from the show if they were to have one of the Mane 6 spend more time with their significant other, or to bring that significant other into the show. It probably wouldn't fit that well, especially when they had to go all ELEMENTS OF HARMONYYYYY! on someone's butt. They can't just make up a new element, the elements have been the elements for . . . forever! :< It would be illogical to make a new element, so the significant other would just sit there all like, "okay I'ma just try to not die."
  17. The Alicorn Amulet does corrupt the user, as was said in the episode more than once. I'm guessing it also keeps them from realizing (or at least caring) about how corrupted they're becoming, because as Trixie informed us, she was consumed by the amulet and didn't really have control over her actions (at least, no moral control). I'm also guessing that it's called the Alicorn Amulet because it probably has the power of multiple alicorns in it. And it's probably really, really old. So it got a generic name, because at the time, it wouldn't have been generic. Looks all evil and junk. Most corrupting artifacts are really old. So, since alicorns in Equestria mainly use magic, the Alicorn Amulet most likely focuses on magic. Alicorns are bigger (and usually more elegant-looking) than your average pegasus, so they naturally have the amplified wing power; meaning they most likely have high amounts of physical (earth pony) strength as well. The only thing that they would really need or want to amplify is their magic. So the AliAmu probably only works on unicorns/alicorns, or, could give an earth pony or pegasus a horn as long as they wear the amulet, as a means to possess and corrupt them.
  18. Yeah. Overall, Pinkie Pie is the source of comic relief in MLP FiM - and I don't think that everyone is going to like all her jokes and stuff all the time. For example, her bit at the very end of Magic Duel was great, in my opinion, and I loved it - but I'm sure plenty people thought it was stupid, too. Just like plenty of people liked her puns in One Bad Apple, and vice versa. Plus, yeah, it is a family show - meaning that everyone and anyone can watch it if they really want to - so that means every now and then, some dumb jokes that would make 8-year-olds or my dad laugh get thrown in there.
  19. -Crashes into thread through roof, because it has a roof now- Why didn't I know this existed earlier? I love this show, so much. Have you heard THE WORST ALBUM yet? It's a bunch of awesome remixes from the show. I feel stupid for not knowing of its existence until recently. Also, I've heard of a lot of people being really careful about watching it . . . I watched the entire series at school during my HTML class when it first aired, lol. Ergh one more thing!
  20. Man, I could never choose! They were all just . . . so . . . freakin' . . . ADORABLE! I just wanted to snuggle all of them! snugglesnugglesnuggle.
  21. I see too many issues with a single national sport. This would mean all ponies play it. It's unfair for pegasi and unicorns to still play, unless they were each assigned specific roles. The issue with unicorns, though, is that they may be more likely to cheat. Not exactly that, but they have more ability to cheat. They also have less of a chance of getting caught, because they can do it on the sly. For example, if the game involved a ball, a unicorn could levitate it or curve it to have an advantage. This is especially a problem when multiple unicorns would do that. Unless they were able to set up some thing to deal with such issues, such as a limit as to what type of magic, and the length it can reach, unicorns may just have to not play, or to have their magic temporarily disabled for the game's length. I could also see unicorns accidentally popping the soccer balls if they were to play soccer . . .
  22. It's true that you can send a clone back to this pond rather easily . . . but let it also be noted that you can send the real thing back just as easily. What if the enemy were to launch a full-scale attack using duplicates of the Mane 6? If there were so many at once, it may become difficult to tell who is who. When you're being attacked, especially by such a large army, there's no time to sit down and make them watch paint dry. If they were all out in a giant field and were getting all mixed up, you may just see an aggressive Applejack fighting an aggressive Rainbow Dash. Is either one real? Are they both real? Is the AJ fake? Do you take the chance and zap one, or take the chance and not zap one? Now that's pretty scary. Imagine if Ponyville was taken over this way, and all of our beloved ponies replaced by one-dimensional clones . . . G3 & 3.5 ALL OVER AGAIN!
  23. Derpy just means you're clumsy, not that you're stupid. It's because of this misconception that she was possibly removed, but at least renamed, from/in the show. :| I don't see how "Ditzy" is any better, because that means you're scatter-brained and is closer to "stupid" than being clumsy is.
  24. Actually, that's worse than you may think! Here's what I said about it a couple pages back: "I agree that, for the most part, NMM was misunderstood. She was the manifestation of loneliness and sadness, and hatred and anger fuelled by that loneliness and sadness, inside of Luna. How Nightmare Moon was created is what makes her so misunderstood. But as full on Nightmare Moon - when Luna was totally consumed by that negativity, her plan to cast the land into eternal night is much more devastating once you think about it. Crops are a main - if not the main - food source in Equestria. Without sunlight, no matter what you do, they just won't grow. That'll cause famine and starvation among all of Equestria. And have you ever starved before? The feeling of actually starving - of not being able to get anything in your stomach - physically hurts. That physical pain is just agonizing, and the friends and family who have to watch others suffer are also experiencing emotional and mental pain as well. And that's just from not being able to grow crops . . . I'm not sure how science would work in Equestria, but since things like grass and trees would die, too, they wouldn't be able to produce any oxygen. Eventually, there wouldn't be enough oxygen to support that kind of life in Equestria, and they'd die from suffocation, as well. And how would this affect the animals? Both the nocturnal, and diurnal? Would the diurnal animals try to roam in the night, only to be easily preyed upon by the nocturnal animals, built for the night? Since the diurnal animals would die off, due to lack of ability to reproduce, the nocturnal animals would run out of food as well. The whole food chain, and life in general, in all of Equestria would be broken by eternal night. Those are some pretty morbid things to think about . . . So much agony and suffering."
