((OOC: Sorry I'm late... Didn't notice that the RP topic was up..))

 

Whirl Wake had already heard everything from Shining Armor, and was ready to help the ponies of Equestria fend off the forces of nature. He nervously walked around the rather large castle gardens, knowing vaguely where he was supposed to meet up with the others. He was so lucky to be stationed here, in Canterlot, his favorite place in Equestria! The job of a medic was perfect for him, knowing his knowledge with medicine and injuries. He trotted around, eventually find a less crowded place with a few ponies galloping towards it. Looking up, Whirl Wake saw the huge, vertical magic sign saying "Canterlot" and immediately walked in that direction. "Here we go, your first day..." He said under his nervous breath.

 

 

 

 

 

When Whirl got to the big sign, he noticed one unicorn pony below it, obviously the magician who created it. Whirl Wake approached him to introduce himself. "Hi, I'm Whirl Wake. Are you stationed in Canterlot too?" He asked, trying to make a good first impression on the pony.

Using her telekinesis, Star Rain carried Vinyl over to the vertical sign. When she got there, she saw two ponies already waiting there. "Hello everypony! I'm Star Rain. Are you two stationed here in Canterlot?" she asked excitedly. She was more than ready to meet them and get to know them more.

Arcane smiled and nodded, those 3 must also be stationed at Canterlot if they were asking that, "I was hoping to get acquainted before we started waiting... that sounded really lame, but its better than nothing. Lets get to the hotel before all the good rooms get taken. If were missing anypony we can find them later."

He said and started to walk towards the hotel, motioning with his hoof for them to follow him.

Electrobolt looked up and had noticed there was a streak of dim, purple light and was confused. Had that streak been there all that time and he didn't notice it until now? Shaking his head, he looked around at the surroundings, noticing there were signals for the groups going to where they were stationed. "Wish I could do something like that..." he mumbled, as he started to look at the other ponies. "Well, guess I better get started trying to find my group..." he whispered, hoping to find the right ponies easily.

 

As he was looking around, he noticed one of them started flying off in the direction of Ponyville. *Are some of them already going to their positioned locations...?* he wondered, before shrugging it off. As he continued looking, he stopped near a black pegasus with a blonde mane and matching blonde eyes. Deciding to try his luck, he took in a breath before saying, "Um, hello there. You wouldn't happen to be stationed in Ponyville, right?" Realizing he didn't mention his name, he added, "Oh yeah, I forgot. My name's Electrobolt."

[Faceless 101]

As soon as the meeting was finished, Faceless had been keen to get back to Ponyville. He didn't really want to meet up with anypony who might know him. He had just ticked his name and left. As he was flying, he noticed a pony calling him over. Faceless looked up at the stranger and smiled. "Hey. Yeah, I'm stationed in Ponyville. I'm on my way there now. I'm Faceless Flyer. Call me Faceless... or Flyer." Faceless rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.

 

"So... have you seen the others yet? Who was it... Shining Star, Lightning Dancer and Amare, right?"

He looks out the window seeing all the ponies passing by and sighs softly to himself taking his hoof and moving his hair out of his eyes to get a better look.  When Is the train going to leave.... I want to get there and get something to eat. He thinks to himself as his stomach growls once again.  The PA fires up and he looks around. "Last call for Ponyville, I repeat last call for Ponyville.  The train will be leaving in 10 minutes!"  With that the PA squeals and dies out and he sighs softly speaking softly to himself. "Good, now we can get there."  He continues to look outside, watching all the ponies carefully to see if he might notice anything as his stomach growls once again.  "Maybe I should have gotten something to eat....Oh well..."  He whispers softly to himself as he rubs his stomach and closes his eyes eventually drifting off into a light sleep.

As Electrobolt heard Faceless introduce himself, and say that he was on his way towards Ponyville, he nodded. "Well, it's nice to meet you, Faceless. Feel free to call me Electro, if you'd like. As for the others, hmm..." He recalled seeing one of the ponies having headed towards Ponyville, when a thought occurred to him. "I dunno, but maybe they're already on their way to Ponyville, in which perhaps we should get moving ourselves. So yeah, um... I'll just take the train back..." With that, Electro started to head over to the train station, where he'll take the train back to Ponyville.

 

After a while, he arrived at the train station as he asked around for the train to Ponyville. One of the ponies he asked had told him the next train leaving for there would be leaving in about seven minutes, and pointed him in the direction of the train. Thanking the pony, he hurried off before arriving at the train. After the proper procedures had been taken care of, he eventually boarded and took an available seat. As he browsed around the car he was seated in, he had noticed the pony he had seen flying off earlier.

 

Upon taking a closer look, he saw that the pony had more than just wings, but also a horn. *An Alicorn...?* he thought, a bit surprised. *The only Alicorns I am aware of are the Princesses... Huh... Maybe he's also positioned at Ponyville... But I don't wanna bother him right now...* So just letting the pony have his own little slumber, Electro looked out the window, wondering if Faceless would be flying to Ponyville, or taking the train as well.

Lightning thought it be funny to try and scare the Ponyville groups out of their wits. She wasn't very far out of Canterlot, so, she landed on the Ponyville train with a loud thump.

Bluenote remembered Ponyville well, it was like she'd been there yesterday... there was no room for thinking right now however, that wastes precious seconds, and before you know it, the rescue groups would be here. Bluenote trotted into the the Town Hall (disguised of course,) half heartedly expecting it to be empty. She then remembered how many rooms were actually IN the hall, and she sighed.

"Alright then!" Star Rain replied, following Arcane. She was experiencing two emotions at once. She was scared of the future missions to come, as it was her duty as the rescue worker of the team to find and bring civilians to safety, even if it meant using her body to shield them. However, she was excited to meet these new ponies that she'll be working with.

[Faceless 101]

Faceless bristled himself against the cold air, as he soared towards Ponyville. Could of taken the train to Ponyville. But no, I have to fly there because there's no reason not to. I could be in a nice, warm carriage right now.

 

Faceless kept having his in-thought rant as he passed over a town on flames. He saw that a response unit was already on the case. Nevertheless, he shook his head. I can't wait to start actually helping somepony out. The train should get to Ponyville first so I think I'll be around... half-an-hour after?

 

Flyer tried to do some mathmatics in his head, before shrugging and, at a constant pace, started to move towards Ponyville.

Lightning Dancer saw another pegasus deciding to fly there. She, out of pure boredness, trailed behind them, trying to see if she could overtake them.

 

(I'm going to assume there is a long distance between Canterlot and Ponyville.)

Bluenote was actually pretty pleased with today's busyness. There were a few people here, but that leads to Bluenote thinking that Mayor Mare may not actually be here right now. Having not noticed that she was not in her ponysona form, she ran into an orange pony. She let her pass; the minute she was out of sight, she assumed her ponysona form, and continued her search,

When Electrobolt heard something thump on the roof of the car he was in, he jumped slightly. Was something already happening, on the train they were on? Looking outside his window, he could see nothing except the same scenery he had seen earlier. So it would seem like nothing too serious was occurring. He was confused about what had occurred, before shrugging it off. Sooner or later, the train would be departing, heading on it's way to Ponyville. Recalling how the other pony he saw in the train was resting, he thought it'd be a good idea to close his eyes for a little, if only to get a little extra energy for when the train reached Ponyville. And so the lime-green stallion did so, taking a small nap for when he arrived at his hometown.

He jerks awake opening his eyes quickly as he hears the thud on the top of the train.  "What.... the..... What was that..??"  He whispers to himself looking around the train car then to the roof and lets out a small yawn.  He shakes his head slightly his stomach growling a little bit more.  He notices the other pony in the car sitting a few seats away from him and blinks for a moment.  He notices the pony closing his eyes and he decides to look back out the window wondering what is going on.  "Hmmmm I wonder.... oh well.... never mind. It shouldn't shouldn't take too long to get there I guess I can wait."  He yawns again and sits in the seat resting his head against the window.

As the group trotted off, Whirl Wake caught up to a purple pony who was also following Arcane as they went to a hotel. "Hey, my name's Whirl Wake." He said politely. "I'm gonna be a medic in our group. What's your name?" He held out a hoof, hoping for it to be shaken. This was very exciting for him. Not only the part about saving ponies' lives, but also the part where he made friends.

"Name's Star Rain. I'm going to be a rescue worker in this group!" she replied, shaking his hoof. "So just wondering, how come you wanted to help reduce the amount of deaths we've been having lately?" she asked, deciding to start up a conversation somepony in the group to get to know them more.

Whirl Wake shrugged. "I've always been helping making ponies' lives easier." He said. "Before this, I was a pharmacist in the business district of Canterlot. I would mostly make and improve vaccines, like the Pony Pox vaccine, so I would usually study antibodies and other parts of the immune system. I've always had a fascination with medicine and diseases, and I just decided that using said fascination to help others would be the best for me." Whirl Wake smiled. "How about you?" He asked.

"Well simply put, I was tired of seeing so many lives lost in these all these unnatural disasters. I figured I could help lower them even a little bit and save victims, so I decided to settle with being a rescue worker in this team, because I figured I was the best at finding ponies and clearing the way. I'm not ready to give up yet!" Star Rain said answering the question. It wasn't the whole truth though. Really, she got fed up with life at home and ran away, hoping to escape her abusive aunt and start a new life somewhere away from her. She didn't even leave a note behind, only took saddlebags full of books, pencils, apples, some bits, and her diary.

Sunny Rainbow blushed as Shining Armor glanced at her for not giving a last name. Oops. She had been so excited to help out and do something that she had just slapped down the information as quick as possible. She tossed her main in front of her face biting her lip she continued to think about the days ahead. 

  JUmping she realized that everyone was moving to find their groups. "Oh...Oh my." She thought as she watched the crowd of ponies trying to get themselves together. Finally she decided to run for the ponyville train in hopes that her group could be found there. Cantering along, she watched as the whistle blew. OH NO! It was going to leave without her, putting in a burst of speed she gained on the train and after several tense moments managed to jump on the end. SHe slumped breathing deeply, before turning to enter the back of the train.

Solar Flicker shifted her weight back and forth on her hooves. She felt awkward surrounded by all the unicorns, pegasi, and earth ponies chatting to each other. Truth be told she didn't actually have any friends. She'd always spent more time training and occasionally writing stories than anything else. She searched the room and found her party soon enough when a stiff, starch looking unicorn advertised their place. Next to him was a pegasus who looked ready for a party. She walked over to them and said. "I take it you are Steel Shield and Colt Revo? I'm Solar Flicker, a first responder. So, we gonna go save some lives or what?"

Oh no, not good... this is Totally not good!! Being late to the very first briefing is not a good way to start things! The application had stated three days when I submitted it! That was a week ago and I just got the letter of approval today an HOUR before the briefing? Has anypony tried getting through Canterlot from the Refuge camp of Ponyville in an hour? It's simply not possible! Ice Storm thought to herself. This was the first time that she had ever been late with anything, and the only reason it was so this time was because of the fact that she had only just now gotten accepted as part of the security force to help over-watch the affected areas, one of which being her home.

 

She bolted down the streets of Canterlot moving as fast as she could while weaving through ponies and attracting a good bit of attention in the process. At this point though the attention didn't matter. She had a job to do and she was going to make sure that it got done. After a few more minutes, she could finally see the lawn that they were supposed to be meeting at and it looked like a majority of the ponies were still there. Thank Celestia, she thought to herself as she came to a sliding stop in front of Shining Armor. She held her hoof up in salute post before beginning. "Captain, My sincerest apologies on my tardiness. I only received word that I had been accepted into the Security force but only an hour ago, and well, getting from the Ponyville Refuge camp to here in an hour is neigh impossible. That being said, enough time has already been wasted. Where am I needed?" she asked getting straight to the point.

Colt looked at the new pony who just came up "yep Colt Revo is my name, and yeah we are gonna go save lifes and be heros!" he said excitedly, "so Solar, why did you decide to go to las pegasus?" he asked curiously, he was interested, and of course any mare was worth talking to

Solar Flicker shrugged. "New place, ponies to see, I go where the wind blows me and I'm getting the feeling that I'll be needed there. Don't know why, but I trust my gut." She blew a stray shock of hair out of her eyes. "So what's your story?" She asked the two others.

Whirl Wake hopped his eyebrows for a second. "Wow, it must have taken quite a bit of bravery to just walk out of any life to a place where you have little experience." He said. Suddenly he looked saw a large sign saying "Canterlot Regent Hotel," supported by a six-story building made skillfully with stone, wood and straw for a thick, thatched roof.  He called up to the pony who he thought was Arcane, at least based on what he remembered from orientation. "Hey, is this the place where we are staying?"

[Shining Star 33]

The train whistle blows and the PA springs to life once again. ALL ABOARD!!!! LAST CALL TRAIN TO PONYVILLE!!!  He looks out the window then back around the car for a moment before stretching.  A few more minutes pass as the train jerks and begins to slowly start moving down the track eventually picking up speed.  Mere moments later the train picks up speed until it is now going it's normal pace. He looks out the window and watches the scenery passing by quickly and lets out a soft yawn.  "Not too much longer now and we will be there....."  He whispers softly to himself.

Arcane nodded and continued walking, "Since were part of the rescue team, we get rooms for free. I would get a room for half price anyway" he slightly bragged. Working for the princess's had its benefits, but sometimes he just wanted to be normal. "Do you all want separate rooms or are you okay with us all cramming into one big room? And trust me, the rooms can get pretty big"
