Seriously, evil Celestia and Luna were so silly it's beyond hilarious. Their design did nothing for me, but King Sombra looks great! And the Elements of Harmony! I was expecting a serious villain, like Chrysalis was in the comic. I guess they'll make them more threatening in the next issue, because Good Celestia sounded like they ARE real threats. I didn't have any problems with this issue at all, and I especially loved AJ's and Rainbow's reactions to Pinkie, and when Rainbow's habit of being inappropriately honest showed up again. So many hilarious jokes, lines of dialogue and references like Rarity's cry of "Black and red? How unoriginal!" being an obvious shout out to black and red pony Ocs (usually alicorn) and Celestia mocking a guard on his hat...only for Twilight to do the exact same. Speaking of that, Pinkie's solution on escaping their cell is pure gold. Also, am I the only one who noticed Evil Celestia randomly changing clothes? When she appeared she was wearing some kind of regalia and knee high boots, but afterwards she's suddenly wearing a black dress and a purple feather thing, which then changes to red in the next panel when they fly away. Like when she was mediating between Applejack and Mr. Beaverton Beaverteeth, she seemed to be relaying some really complex statements and scolded him for using foul language. And when she was trying to talk with the vampire fruit bats, she said she just needed more time to learn their language. 2 Application REJECTED! I have, and I thought it was pretty boring outside of showing some sister and brother bonding time between Shining Armor and Twilight. With the Discord X Celestia shipping teased at the season 4 finale, I wonder if this means the reflections arc isn't considered canon just by how the show seems to prefer that shipping over the one the Reflection's arc is using?
