I can see reasoning for doing one on one battle. Possibly we should do a randomized system of selection? Pick two random competitors and stick them in a battle zone. Good fun.

I can't see this ending well, simply because of the massive disparity in power levels of some of these characters. For example, Agent 47 and Aragorn are merely peak human with a few minor increases in a few areas, while we have Dante and Sora, who can level entire cities with ease in some of their more powerful forms.

 

And then of course, people all have their own opinions on how powerful certain characters are.

 

As a veteran of vs debates involving numerous characters from numerous universes, I don't see how this will work.

I can't see this ending well, simply because of the massive disparity in power levels of some of these characters. For example, Agent 47 and Aragorn are merely peak human with a few minor increases in a few areas, while we have Dante and Sora, who can level entire cities with ease in some of their more powerful forms.

 

And then of course, people all have their own opinions on how powerful certain characters are.

 

As a veteran of vs debates involving numerous characters from numerous universes, I don't see how this will work.

Yea, you have some good points, but we can give this a shot can't we?

 

Perhaps a rule should be if you get into arguments about characters, you get kicked out. 

There could also be things to even certain duels out.

Ladies and gentlemen, I am ready for this to start. I've read up on my character, got his strengths and weaknesses down, memorized his arsenal, and I'm ready to kick some interdimensional ass.

If we're doing this each battle should be 1 on 1. Though it would be interesting to see teams of 2 fight. Like Meta Knight and Dante vs Master Chief and Naked Snake. Also I don't think we should have too many fights going on at once or we'll blow through the combatants too quickly. Maybe two or three fights max and the other people watch from the sidelines and talk/get to know each other. As for the arenas maybe they could be locations from different worlds a la Smash Bros.

I agree with what Evilshy says. There is no way someone line Rainbow Dash or Agent 47 is going to beat people like Dante, Meta Knight, Sora, or the Dragonborn. So there's that.

This interests me, but I cannot decide, do I go as Dark Mousy of DNAngel or do I go as Alex from Golden Sun. You know what Im gonna go With Alex, as much fun as Dark would be, the Mercury Adept will be much more fun.

We'll just file all the superpowerful characters in the top, the weaker ones in the bottom, and make 1 or 2 middle leagues if we need to!
